Toni Morrison brings out the conception that the appetence of having white skin devours the African-Americans and their self-esteem gradually becomes self-loathing. The illusions of white beauty and the politics of color are compatible. The keenness of having white skin originates from being a victim of the politics of color. Morrison traces Pecola, the protagonist of this novel, as the scapegoat of an inter-racial society. Her extreme struggle because of having a dark complexion ultimately drives her to be an insane psyche. All the individuals also endure the agitations and agony of the racial society. Pauline Breedlove, Cholly Breedlove, Geraldine, Frieda MacTeer and Claudia MacTeer-all of them become the victim of racism along with Pecola. This paper particularly focuses on the reprimand of the African-Americans for being black and their eagerness of having white skin for escaping those social stigmas in The Bluest Eye. The prejudice against western standards of beauty as well as the illusions of white beauty and its effects on the lives of African-Americans are thoroughly depicted here.

History has witnessed a widespread massacre in many countries as an outcome of hate speech and India is no exception. The climate of hate that has engulfed the current Indian government (Bharatiya Janata Party) is expressed time and again in the form of a speech by the people in power leading to a nationwide breach of peace. India being a home to multi-culture, ethnic, linguistic and religious groups, the tone and tenor of words used by those in power, has flared large scale of violence in many instances. The aim of the paper is three fold. Besides exploring the global understanding of hate speech and anti-Christian rhetoric, the paper highlights hate speech that has caused the kandamal genocide (2008) destroying and devastating the lives of the marginalized Christian community and to promote a transformational leadership approach to develop people of influence with values, dignity and respect for human life.

As John’s Gospel has the potential to appeal to and accommodate the spirituality of South Asia, a re-reading of the Gospel is possible through the means of a crosspollination of ideas. The four major parts of the Gospel, i.e., the Prologue, the Book of Signs, the Book of Glory, and the Epilogue, demonstrate several cultural and ideological parallels with that of the South Asian realities. A reading that encourages religio-cultural sensitivity can be a required formative factor in the process of interpreting the Fourth Gospel. Some of the key aspects of the Gospel such as the theme of discipleship, the sign language, the “I AM” Sayings, the characters and the characterization, mystical expressions, and dualistic tendencies can be dynamically interlocked within the South Asian ideological and cultural aspects. but which many think are simple. This fact is undeniable because it is
among the most widely researched, variously interpreted, and
intensely debated biblical texts. Exegetical method is adopted for the
best interpretation of the context of the Bible for appropriate and
adequate meaning. The most widely accepted interpretation is its
relation to the first advent of our savior Jesus Christ. The current
study debunks this popular view by bringing in a completely new but
scholarly and historically supported interpretation linking
the prophecy to Zerubbabel, Onias III and Antiochus (IV) Epiphanes.
The current study exhibits how easy it is to misinterpret biblical texts
if not examined carefully. The study suggests adequate and
appropriate interpretations to passages of the Holy Bible as they can
influence human eternal destination.

Students with special needs have to exhibit good communication skills to achieve success in their careers. Written communication plays a major role in boosting the communication capabilities of students with hearing impairment since written communication is a common and popular form of communication in the professional environment. To inculcate good communication skills and strong subject knowledge, it is essential to use & adopt good teachinglearning practices to teach students with hearing impairment. The present paper introduces a new technique of teaching based on a keyword-based concept. In this approach, the teacher prepares a list of keywords from the chapter/ subject to be taught. The next step is to define, describe, and make a visual interpretation of the listed keyword. The sign representation of the keyword is essentially based on conceptoriented sign language derivation. The effectiveness of this method depends on the list of keywords being prepared or extracted from the subject. The list should be prepared in such a manner that it should highlight the concept of the subject effectively.

The purpose was to examine the relationship between ethical conduct and students' examination performance and explore the challenges university students face during examinations. The study was conducted in Kisii County using a descriptive survey design within the qualitative and quantitative paradigms. It involved 270 students out of the 4,222 third year university students in 8 Universities. Simple random sampling technique was employed in coming up with the sample. A questionnaire was utilised to elicit data from the respondents. The instrument's validity was established by two experts who assured of its content validity and the usefulness of the scale employed in measuring data. The reliability of the instrument was assessed by employing a testre-test approach in which the coefficient of correlation was computed. The instrument yielded a Cronbach Alpha of 0.83 and therefore was deemed reliable enough to be employed in data collection. Research data was analysed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. The study found that sometimes students do not have the correct perception of what constitutes examination malpractices and that institution administrators have done little to fight the vice. The study also found out that peer influence, a desire to excel, academic overload and the teaching environment were the leading factors responsible for examination malpractices among University students. Other equally important determinants include use of technology and procrastination. The study recommends that institution should formulate a code of conduct to be observed by every person involved in the management and practice of examinations.

text, in a way that makes it look relevant to the present age and useful
in proffering solution to problems; both in the present and for the

a redress of grievances at Shechem during the reign of Rehoboam and
comparing it with the agitations of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
The article also provided practicable recommendations which would
be useful for the Nigerian government in tackling the challenges
posed at them by the IPOB dilemma.

This paper attempted to account for Jesus' miracles and their significance in raising Christians' faith today, as mentioned by various prophets in the Old Testament. The survey was carried out based on a critical analysis of some of the miracles performed by Jesus Christ while He was on earth. The study focused on two healing miracles, the first controlling nature, and the other one demonstrating power against demons or evil spirits from men by categorizing his miracles. Six miracles were chosen and analyzed to help people understand the meaning and significance of those miracles in Jesus' time and today. This survey focused on the miracles of Jesus Christ as recorded in the New Testament. All of Jesus' miracles revealed to the readers that nothing Jesus Christ did on this earth was done without a purpose or message for either the hearers or the listeners. People around Jesus changed spiritually as a result of his miraculous deeds, as this survey noted. Faith is also an effect of the miracle, because it engenders faith in the souls of those who were its recipients or witnesses. The accounts of Jesus' miracles in the New Testament appear to be historically reliable, though some historians and gentiles continue to
interpret these miracles differently for whatever reason, and they do not
appear to believe the New Testament's account of Jesus' supernatural works. These various miracles demonstrate that Jesus Christ is Lord of all because He has authority over incurable diseases, He can heal without being physically present, He has authority over sins, nature, the supernatural realm, life and death all at the same time, and His deeds were done publicly.

seemingly abruptly inserted between Noah and Abraham- The two crucial
figures of monotheism? Who led the building of the Tower of Babel, and
what impact did it have on later human society? The Bible has no direct
interpretation, thus making it available for the reader to interpret. Based
on the biblical commentaries and other rabbinical texts related to the
Tower of Babel incident, this article puts forward the argument that the
Tower of Babel is a watershed of human moral civilization and discusses it from the three aspects: the event of Tower of Babel brings two types of
religion bases (Human-based and God-based), brings two philosophical
categories (theocentrism and anthropocentrism), and brings the two
cultural societies (Babel style and Abraham styles), which conducts some
analysis around the theme from three sources that influence the definition
of morality: religious belief, philosophy, and culture.

between the Romans and the Jewish religious leaders is pivotal in the
Jewish uprising against the Romans. Some of the issues that are taken

political, and military aspects of the nexus between the Jewish
religious leaders and the Romans. As a corollary to their nexus, the
Romans demanded heavy taxation from the Jews. The high priest

Therefore, the unhappy masses rose against the Roman rulers and

study would demand a much longer paper.
