In every case, sooner or later the culprit will be found and he or she shall face the law. Even in a case that can be seen as a perfect crime there will be some piece of information left by the criminal. The solving of the case depends upon the ability of the investigator to find out that hint and put it into investigation. But what happens when the crime is not done by an ordinary human and the police officials have arrested an innocent man? Stephen King's The Outsider is all about such an inhuman being who has done several crimes especially the Raping and Murdering of innocent children. We can't even think about a situation when we are blamed or even arrested for another man's crime. But what happens when one experiences a scenario where the innocent is also guilty?

It dramatizes Indian middle class society's deepseated, unchecked, and malignant depravity and perversity. Tendulakr brilliantly depicted human intrapersonal connections in the distant past as well as in today's sociopolitical environment by diving deeply into their complexities. Sakharam Binder, the protagonist of the play, refuses the conventional but artificial orthodox and polished value system and attempts to develop his own life philosophy. Sakharam's battle against sociopsychological elements reveals the bare exhibition of inflexible conventions, ugliness and the dissolution of human self. Vijay Tendulkar succeeds in exposing the societal turpitude and holocaust in which the caste gender heritage has its own province to worsen the situation. Because of the importance of this heritage, it leaves its impression on the inner landscape of the human mind and causes chaos in their lives. Personal and societal spheres in reality, Manusmriti's laws on the one

In the scheme of human history, pandemics are nothing new. Apocalyptic outbreaks of diseases have been a recurring motif in literature since time immemorial. Pandemic literature helps us contextualise the reality of such outbreaks and mirrors our fears about the disease and societal collapse. Pandemic movies fall under the genre of dystopian fiction. The reflection of a restructured post-pandemic society through literary narratives reveals the social importance of literature or art at the time of crisis. Most of the pandemic narratives could be analysed from a post-colonial perspective as the genre reflects the concept of 'self' and the 'other' through the image of pandemic disease. Both novels and movies of this genre often describe the neglect, incompetence and selfishness of those in power. These narratives are often centered on Western countries neglecting the effects of pandemic on Eastern countries, which are often positioned as the source of these transnational contagions.

Apart from economic conditions, the importance of women in under developing countries still suffers from blind gender disparity. Their voices are always suppressed in family as well as in society. The only solution to raise their importance is at the hand of law. The liberation of women in under developing countries is moving slow like a snail's journey. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Purple Hibiscus realistically portrays the suppressed voices of African women through the characters Beatrice Achike-the Mama, Aunty Ifeoma, and Kambili Achike. Dissent is never entertained and taken on the right spirit by any government in the world. And therefore, the emotions and the desires of African women are taken unaccounted. This perhaps is the effect

Dharman's narrative technique "The Owl" is unique and Ms. Vasantha Surya, the translator deftly captures the cadence and core of the mystic rendering with aplomb. The spoken register of the karisal region is earthy but can be easily followed by all but in translation, it requires footnotes and references. Cho Dharman, who has too many fish to fry and several axes to grind, tries to convey more with symbolism and Greek chorus-like authorial intrusion by using a style that is a blend of mysticism and myth.

The note of pessimism is always discernible in modern poetry that expresses a feeling of frustration among the people. T S Eliot is a modern poet not merely because of the novelty of his themes and by awareness of his time but chiefly because of the new method evolved by him for poetic communication. His poem "Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" is an excellent example of modern poetry that deals with the complexities and dilemma of modern man. The present paper attempts to deal with the description of love of J Alfred Prufrock and his problems while expressing his feelings to his lady love. The paper tries to make an in-depth study of the situation faced by the protagonist who is in quest of a successful love relationship.

This Pulitzer Prize-winning author has written extensively about racial and gender problems. Her best-known work is The Color Purple (which won her the Pulitzer Prize for fiction). Alice Walker's personal experiences as a representative of African American women authors have influenced her distinct psychological perspective. In her work, she often employs the symbolism that is popular in dark literary works. Presently in domestic academia, there are only a small number of research on the novel's creative features and expression approaches that concentrate only on the novel's symbolic meanings of the colour picture. The book has an overall focus on the construction of language, the execution of voice, the evaluation of sexual orientation, and the redefining of identity of the narrative's female characters, particularly heroine Celie. The Bildungsroman thesis states that a character's environment, experiences, issues, and oppression all contribute to his or her psychological strength. A bildungsroman is a novel that aims to mould the reader's mind and soul via their experiences in the world. She draws inspiration from Alice Walker's The Color Purple.

Using the first-andsecond-person narratives and shuttling of narrative between past and present, she proves herself a typical postmodernist even in her first collection of short stories titled Self-Help published in 1985. She does not brand herself a feminist, yet woman related issues are dealt by her in almost all the stories in this collection. While focusing her attention on women issues, she relates them to the world which is overflowed with various internal and external relationships. He has to juggle with the multiplicity of pretentiousness where he loses his uniqueness. Everything changes when the attire is ripped, damaged, torn, ragged and finally converted to rugs. A man then starts feeling miserable to see the original him. At certain spaces he feels rejected and tries to get alienated, which results in his isolation; that makes him believe that he is standing without identity. In the novel, Winter in the blood, we meet a thirty-two year old narrator who is nameless and is disheartened facing the societal challenges. He is rejected, isolated and segregated and has no corner to breathe a colorful life with shimmering sound. He thus, chooses a deep dark nook to breathe nihilism.
