When I spied these cannas with sunlight penetrating through the veins in their leaves, revealing such brilliant, unbelievable colors, I knew I had to paint them. I crouched down low to the ground to catch the light streaming through them on camera. Then I was off and running to paint them. It seems as though the wind had arranged them to sway as if they were reveling in response to the adoring audience's cry of 'Encore'! Here's to repeat performances!
