ioulex is an artist duo.

Through an ethereal approach to photography and filmmaking, Julia Koteliansky and Alexander Kerr explore the invisible connections between the natural and the human made, the overlap between the concrete and the surreal. Their editorial portraits, fashion and reportage stories have been published internationally, commissioned by The New Yorker, the New York Times, M le Monde, TIME and ZEITmagazin among others. ioulex’s work was the subject of solo exhibitions at Pavlov’s Dog gallery in Berlin and Audio Visual Arts (AVA) gallery in New York. Their experimental short films have been screened as part of official selection of ASVOFF festival at Centre Pompidou and Dover Street Market Paris, Dance on Camera at Symphony Space, The Museum of Art and Design, Parsons Gallery, NOWNESS, and Vogue Italia. Julia and Alexander met as students at Parsons School of Design in Paris. They reside with their daughter in New York.
