It’s really fucking funny to watch folks completely ignore that Valve has been making Dota 2 for the last 17 years, and then act surprised when they make another.

deadlock dota 2 victor victor deadlock ivy ivy deadlock art he took ivy on that post game date to the gas station swathes of scorned tf2 fans sulking in their chairs when they have to learn last hitting item builds and macro game timing these people have never experienced mid lane pudge or the thrill of transmuting a creep into 160 gold they've never known the horrors of 6.83 sniper or sleep dagger riki you come into my house and complain about the furniture? this shit is NOTHING this is what you get when you don't give Dota the time of day for 14 years you get ANOTHER Dota you ungrateful brats

The takes I’m seeing levied at this video based on its thumbnail alone are very reductive, I actually watched this video before seeing this post and it actually has a lot very helpful tips with regards to analyzing concepts of “game polish” and improving game-play feedback. The thumbnail gives the wrong impression of “add bloom to pixel art to make it hd” But the video itself is more about layering small things like Camera and Object motion to specifically improve the “feel” of a game.

Some of you (especially if you’re an aspiring game dev) could learn a thing or two from it.

judging a video by its thumbnail is the new judging an article by its headline but to be fair some videos have horrible thumbnails
