Hey VEXED!
First of all, great work on this asset — thank you for that. I have a few requests I’d like to ask. I purchased the asset, but unfortunately it’s not broken down in a way that’s directly usable inside Unity. Would it be possible for you to further separate the PNGs? When I buy a ready-made asset, I generally expect it to be ready to use. Unfortunately, slicing via Unity’s Sprite Editor is not sufficient in this case.
For the assets inside the Tiles folder, could you do the following?
-
For Background.png, could you provide all 16x16 or 8x8 tiles as separate PNG files? Sprites sliced from a single PNG using Unity’s Multiple mode cannot be tiled properly.
-
In Board.png, could you export the grid spots at the bottom as separate PNGs? Please make them suitable for 16x16 slicing.
-
There are no issues with Pieces.png, but it would still be very helpful if all pieces were also included as separate PNG files.
-
UI.png is where things get quite complicated.
Could you separate Cursors, Icons, and Numbers / Symbols into individual PNG files?
For the Indicators, could you provide the symbols and the underline elements separately? I’d like to be able to use them without text as well.
Buttons and frames should also be provided as separate files.
The 3-in-a-row animations should be completely separated into their own files as well. Additionally, to allow them to work as animation sprite sheets, they should be converted into a format that can be sliced based on the board resolution, with proper spacing for slicing.
I’m aware that I’m asking for quite a lot, but unfortunately it’s not possible for me to use the asset in its current form. If you could reorganize it this way, it would be fantastic.
