Notification helpers

This should make handling notifications especially on android (where the system can just terminate the worker) much more robust.

SyncOnce now only updates the DB once the lambda passed to it was finished successfully, inside the lambda one can extract notifications from the syncResponse, process all of them and if that fails, the new messages can be processed again on the next sync.
