Draft: Socket for use as remote shell

Add a command line option to open a socket which allows remote actions. Not much in the way of security but listens on local 127.0.0.1 only. Documented and unit tests included, and tested personally of course.

Scratches an itch for me in that it allows multiple batch processing operations without starting a new instance.

Would love to get comments or suggestions.
