Web Edit Causing Commits to Fail as "File with this name doesn't exist"

Summary:

When attempting to edit document or replace entirely, issue pops up stating "A file with this name doesn't exist". This may be related to other issues where it tries to fork from non-original branch

Steps to Reproduce:

-Go to file inside repository with multiple forks. Attempt to edit/replace a file.

What is the current bug behavior?

-It does not commit the change.

What is the expected correct behavior?

-A commit should be created and a merge request created.
