Opportunity

Customer would like to know the exact pricing information for their upcoming renewal.

Problem

For issue Customers should only be able to renew 15 days before subscription expiration date , frontend issue #3275 (closed) was implemented as MVC. The Renew button is disabled up to 15 days before the renewal date.

A few support tickets were created where customers needed exact pricing information of their upcoming renewal. The information was needed for their internal approval and ordering process which takes more than 15 days.
The Support team is unable to provide the exact pricing as e.g. proration and taxes are involved.

Support Engineers themselves also used the Impersonate functionality to verify if and which EoA prices would be applied to trueups, extra seats, and renewals.

Proposal

Enable the Renew button, so the ordering page with pricing information is shown.
Disable the finalization of the ordering process, and show a banner explaining that the actual renewal can be done from 15 days before the renewal date.

Result

Customers can at all times see the pricing of their upcoming renewal.

How will we measure success?

We should no longer get requests for pricing information, as the customer will be able to see the exact pricing for their upcoming renewal.
