some of the cursed stuff i worked on

(since github has no way of neatly organizing pinned repos...)
here's a short, very much non-exhaustive list of stuff i made with my paws:

• kubi - voxel engine with multiplayer networking and multhreaded procedural worldgen, made with wgpu
• hui - custom semi-immediate-mode, backend-agnostic ui library (initially made for kubi)
  • hui-painter - 2d rendering library used in hUI, currently supporting backends for wgpu and glium
• emudev projects
  • yarge - yet another rust gameboy emulator, somewhat accurate
  • minish - chip-8 interpreter in less than 1.5kb of lua
• palm os thingys
  • nix-palm-os - palm os utilites, sdks and build tools packaged as nix packages for building reproducible palm os projects :3
• sony psp homebrew
  • vvvvvv-psp - homebrew port of terry cavanagh's vvvvvv to the sony psp
    (unfortunately i couldnt get music to fit in it's 32 mb of usable ram, since the game relies on pre-loaded binary blob to store it)
  • psp-gfx-rs - unfinished safe graphics library for the psp in rust
• zeppos watch mini-apps
  • zepp-fediclient - mastodon client mini-app for amazfit's zepp-based watches
  • zepp-shell - remote js shell for amazfit's zepp-based watches
• beefk-jit - jit x86_64 compiler for brainfuck
• badUIbattles stuff
  • badui-media - using audio/media controls to enter text (doesn't work in firefox)
  • thing - cursor... thing (try it)

in addition, i also:

• done some rust backend work as an internship at @pyrohost
• worked on couple of uefn (unreal engine for fortnite) projects
• worked on project devlootbox: fetches, caches, archives and notifies of limited-time free offers from fab
  (not public at the moment)

hardware/software im using

• my primary machine is a Framework 13 (diy edition) with Ryzen 7640U , 24 gb of ram and a 1 tb ssd
• main os: NixOS unstable, i use it on both my personal machines and servers i run for self-hosted/homelab stuff
  • server config: github.com/girl-pp-ua/nixos-infra (this is the cleaner one)
  • main (messy) nixos config i run on my main laptop: git.gay/griffi-gh/nixos
• i edit stuff primarily using Zed, but fallback to vscode for some stuff
