Hello- hello! Today i challenged myself to experiment and to try other style of drawing using reference to practice my colouring and shading. I'm quite proud of this drawing I made in painting style I guess? I tried finishing Qiu face but no matter how I did it, it didn't look quite right so I gave up and left it blank TwT. How did I do for a practice drawing?

I'm so glad I checked the comment section otherwise I'd have nothing to draw HAHSHAHS. I tried to draw myself in the game's artstyle but It was a struggle so this is my second attempt but w an oc !!

10 yr old ellie montgomery, she loves stars and she's an extremely extroverted person. she gets along w the qiu lin a lot but strictly has a platonic rs with them!! she already has a love interest outside of golden grove and lives in the city after turning 18 and goes to college for astronomy.

besides stars, she is all for adventures! she absolutely loves the forests and loves picking rocks and insects to collect lol. she gets bruises and scratches a lot from being out for too long, so her mom always makes sure she gets home before 5 pm... especially after she broke a bone from falling down a tree she climbed. overall, she's jus very energetic and waaaaaaaay too ambitious and curious for her own good hehe.

Soo, since everyone is making drawings of their MC's, I thought: Why not make one myself? My first try was when I made it digitally, it turned out bad (In my opinion), and my second time, which is now, I made on paper, which I'm better at, and it actually came out decent! (The vitiligo may not appear because I had to blend my colors to make the skin and I have cheap pencils 😭)

  Meet Mandy! Or rather Andy Welt! My little shy cutie! They're Mexican! They often give a kind smile at those who they know! But they're very shy around those they don't know, rarely looking up to meet their eyes! They also are very quiet, in their opinion, they think they might say the wrong thing if they do speak, so they only speak whenever they actually think is necessary, being cautious with their words.

  Andy is also a scaredy cat, they're even scared of a mosquito, but they try to overcome their fear everyday by trying to go over them, like the forest! They even tried and did go to the forest with Tamarack, Qiu, Baxter and Darren without cowering in fear!

  But they often struggle with many things, like usually taking more time to understand school subjects. They're also pretty clumsy and distracted, which often results in bandages, it's pretty rare to not see them with one.

I draw very rarely, because almost always I am unhappy with my results, but looking at the beautiful artwork in this community really inspired to try drawing again. So, I just wanted to share my drawing with you too!

His name is Qarim "Rim" Ikramov. I drew him in step two. I would describe him as a very nice boy.  For that reason, he acquainted a lot of people in his school, however, his friends he can call only a few: Qiu, Tamarack, and Ren. Rim is a lawful teenager and has good relationships with Ani (how he calls his mom), however if a lie or law breaking would mean helping friend, he would do that. Qarim likes to use gestures in his speech, causing him to use very little words in some cases, while sometimes be pretty talkative. He is one of those people, who are down to do any activity they are offered.

Qarim is Tatar, and he identifies himself as Asian. He embraces his culture, giving his close once nicknames in Tatar (Mrs. Baumann - Abi (Grandma) and Mr. Baumann - Babai (Grandpa)). He has small body complexion, average height and mole on his neck and under his eyebrow. 

Tamarack and Qarim are best friends forever, while with Qiu and Ren Rim has more complicated relationships. Rim has crush on Qiu, and thinks he does too, but because nobody ever said that explicitly it makes him question if his assumption is true. Qarim is friends with Ren, but every time they are together, Rim always notices how cute Ren is, and how he wants to protect him and take care for him. However, Qarim prefers to convince himself that he cannot have two crushes at the same time, and choses Qiu over Ren.

P. S. Sorry for getting carried away when describing Qarim. I get too excited when it is about writing and creating characters.

GUYS, im  playing B&A Baxter's DLC for the first time ever... and he said this particular thing about having a crush on someone...  guess who's a ballet dancer? it would actually be really interesting if Baxter had a crush on Qiu!!

Did anyone dress up their MCs for the tea party? If so, what did they wore? I'd love to see some screenshots or reference pictures if available!

I just want to confess, tis was a distraction. I had a vision of short-hair Qiu...except it was inspired by the glitch in android. Now have a curse sketch of buzz cut Qiu. If I was brave enough, their hairstyle would have been fully shaved (I'm sorry Qiu)

Um....this is just a random idea you might like for a step 2 moment but....what if the MC went to the bridge and up the mountain on their own, everything was ok until it started storming, they get turned around and lost trying to get back to the bridge tho what seemed like forever while they sit against a tree they see someone running to them. Tamarack. Qiu. Tamarack and Qiu. Qiu, Ren and Baxter. All 4 or other....again just an idea 😓🫣

Timothy looks back into his memories,

This week is rough for everyone who caught cold! Please take care everyone <3 I had a terrible coughing fits but still manage to draw something up.

It was already nighttime when Timothy came home from playing pretend with Qiu and Tamarack. He told his day to his mum and he asked if he can swear for just one time only. Opal decides to humor him. Timmy muttered, "We found some sticks. It was a cool f#cking sh#tick- stick." And Opal's cheeks puffed up before she burst out laughing. Timothy was surprised to see her laugh, he didn't make any jokes this time. Maybe it was because he swore twice in a row instead? But seeing her laugh this much made him feel nostalgic somehow.  By then, Timothy quietly laughed alongside with his mum. He was glad she seemed happier now.

Opal caught her breath as she mentioned how proud to see Timothy getting used to living their new home. her son couldn't reply except gave her a weak smile.  She stood up from the antique couch and told him she got a surprise for Timothy.

After reading the letter, something finally snapped Timothy. Once 1 AM strikes, Timothy decides to leave for a 'brief' moment to see his old friends again. He thought he was okay with the changes, he thought how there's always a chance he can see his old friends again. Timothy York who moved homes three times by now, he should've gotten used to it! So tell him why does he still feel sad and angry since he arrived at Golden Grove?

It's winter season! Living in a tropical climate myself, i can't imagine how I would survive the freezing temperatures! With that said, have this messy doodle of the  cul de sac kids during the winter.

Hey gb patch, idk if you'll answer but so far, love both of the our life games, excited for the full release of now an forever, and I know its still early and in demo but I was curious if it was just Qiu and tamarack we'll have as love interests or if we'll get dlc's for others like we did in beginings and always (sorry for any misspellings it's 2 am when I'm sending this)

Jaehwa's username would be just her full english name with periods in between (amaris.jaehwa.ahn) ... hopefully she doesnt get doxxed 😭. Blythe is super proud of her username since she thinks its SOOO cute and SOOO smart.. (bubbblythe) get a load of her b's ...

Yoo, long time lurker that sometimes replies to comments, does anyone know the difference between small and medium sizes? Because it's not all that explained in what we have in the demo yet, and I've just been defaulting to using medium for all my mc's

I do remember that Qiu was described as scrawny in step 2 but that doesn't help much with how the medium build actually looks like in game

I assume it just means average but average can also vary so my adhd autistic ass is struggling lmao 

HEYOO!! just got done playing demo update #2 AND I FREAKING LOVED IT lol might make me cheat on cove fr lol but on another not don't know if this is supposed to happen or not but there is no continue button showing up for ME to essentually "end the demo" just wanted to know if that was supposed to happen or it's just fizzing for me???!!!!

it would always crash during Step 2, during raining moments 💔 (edit: found out that you could toggle the animations). Maybe it's a problem on my old phone (I figured I should also play Our Life 2 here bc I discovered and finished Our Life B&A on this phone), but I'll try it out on my other mobile gadgets. Other than that, I love it so much!! Fell in love with the first work of this series, and I can't wait for this one to be finished as well ><

hey GB, i love the character customization's diversity so insanely much omg!! im a black guy with basically upturned hair and i was wondering if you were going to add a straight, coiled or curly afro into the game in the full release or next few updates? just a suggestion lol but otherwise I LOVE NOW & FOREVER

JUST FINISHED PLAYING AND IT WAS A FEELING OF ROLLERCOASTER. There were some sad moments and also happy moments! I love this game so much and couldn't wait for the DLC's and other steps to come! Love you gbpatch, tysm for making this adorable game. Now i will be playing this again but with different choices teehee

what version is the update?
