In 2023, I was playing at Outlook Festival in Tisno, Croatia, at one of the after parties at Barbarella's with Dwarde, Sully, Coco Bryce & Blackeye and at the hotel beforehand, Bryan Gee (co-owner of V Recordings with Jumpin' Jack Frost) saw us and ended up joining us on the way to Barbarella's to see our set, which to my surprise, he really seemed to enjoy! The next day, I had to head back home to London & I was waiting outside the hotel to get picked up to go to the airport, only to see Bryan again come out of the hotel & it turns out we're taking the same car to the airport. We end up getting to the airport, to find out that we're on the same flight together and then also find out that we're sat next to each other on the plane 😅
During that journey, whilst me & him are chatting about music and stuff, I ask him about an unreleased tune from the 90s by Krust called 3 Colours Black and if there's any plans for releasing it. He says there's no plans for it yet in the immediate future, so I ask if he would be up for doing a joint label release with me & to my surprise, he's actually up for it! He says he'll talk to Krust about it and let me know, but when he does, he finds out that Krust is planning to release that track himself on one of the re-issue releases he was doing last year. So instead, I ask about this track (which I knew as Do You Love Me) and thankfully, it was available & both Bryan & Krust were up for putting this track on the release with a remix from me, and after a long amount of planning, VFR001 is here!
Big thanks to Bryan & Gareth @ V Recordings for their co-operation with this release, to Krust for his music over the years & to 3WN for their design work on this release, merging both styles of the labels together.

Untitled 1 hmmmmmmm for those who know about Kool Fm and Jungle Fever will know the Roger Moore on this one. Tbh I’ve been trying to reduce my vinyl outlay the last few years, never happens especially when tunes like this are getting pressed 🤷 Early Dilly 🔥 say no more✌️ Bram White
