Both the far right and the far left have been trying to elevate the Tara Reade story to First Page News Alert for at least a month now. They don’t get that the combination of lack of evidence and her repeatedly changing story make the whole thing sound like bullshit…

I vaguely recall that's what the far-right used to say that Kavanaugh'a attempted rape victim's story shouldn't be believed because it kept changing over the years, hell, that's basically what's been said of a lot of rape or attempted rape victims, that their stories aren't creditable because they kept changing them, when she's actually getting more used to telling people what happened as it was a deeply traumatic event for her. This is the era of the #metoo movement where we're suppose to at least believe women when they say they were raped by powerful figures, but apparently like everything else that goes out the window when it's directed at someone the leader of the movement supports, remember, Tara reade went to the main organ of this movement who declined to help her out.
