Candice (Kandyse) McClure

Born in South Africa, now living in Vancouver, Kandyse is an extremely talented actress with an amazing amount of genre credits.
It seems she's appeared in every genre series filmed in Canada since 2000. (Not that we're complaining!)
She just popped up in the fifth episode of Persons Unknown, and if her name in the opening credits is any indication, she'll be around for the remainder of the series!

Grace Park

Grace Park is an in-demand genre tv veteran.
In fact, over half of her credits are genre productions!
She's appeared in most of the Canadian-produced sf / fantasy series of the past decade (usually in several episodes at a time), and with good reason...
She displays a great acting range from comedy to drama, and handles action / stunts with panache.

You might want to add "Galactica", "Battlestar" or "actress" to "Grace Park" when using a search engine...

Athena and Boomer were two different characters on the original Battlestar Galactica.
Maren Jensen played Lt. Athena, daughter of Cdr Adama and sister of Capt Apollo.
Herb Jefferson Jr played Lt. (later Col.) Boomer. NOTE: Col. Boomer was a character on Galactica: 1980, a sequel series most fans consider apocryphal / non-canon.
Other performers to play Kono Kalakaua include Zulu aka Gilbert Lani Kauhi, in Hawaii 5-0 [1968-72]

Alexandra L Doig (Shanks)

It's interesting how many actresses end up doing primarily genre work.
Lexa Doig, seems to pop up as a regular or semi-regular in most of the genre series produced in Canada since 1996!
Not that I'm complaining, mind you! If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have bothered with Andromeda after the first season...
