Full Disclosure: I came to Everlasting Spew looking for a different album and ended up buying this too because it kicked my ears! Favorite track: Execration.

Bart Everlasting Spew Records finds yet another band that really clicks for me. Brutal death metal that has some doom moments, then shift over into some very cool riffing grooves. Best death metal album in '25 to date. Favorite track: Mental Deconstruction.

These guys are experienced musicians from the American DM scene, while "Deranged Excruciations" may well be Metaphobic's debut album, it shows, clearly, that these guys know their stuff! Amazing riffs and neck-wrecking few tracks on pre-release! Left me drooling and with a sore neck!!

US Death Metal quintet Metaphobic is finally back with their massive debut album "Deranged Excruciations", crafting the perfect mix between old school flavors with plenty of riffs and catchy sections and much more modern dissonancies.

Metaphobic is a five piece death metal group from Atlanta, GA originated in 2018 from the ashes of their previous band, Cesspool, when the main songwriter departed. The remaining members Peter (Obsolescence), Nathan (Paladin), Shawn (Homicidal, ex-Sadistic Ritual), and Danny took the band in a completely new direction and began writing all new material. In 2019 Dan (Malformity) was recruited on bass and the band named themselves Metaphobic.
The band recorded their first demo in 2021 at Second Sight Studios and is now back to unleash their first full length album "Deranged Excruciations".
