What can I expect from the event?
Eternelle Notre-Dame is a virtual reality expedition that transports you from the Middle Ages to today, retracing the construction, life, and rebirth of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris.
Where is the experience located?
The experience will be located at Arsenal Contemporary Art, at 2020 William St, Montreal, Quebec H3J 1N1, Canada.
How can I reach the venue using public transportation?
The nearest metro stations to Arsenal Contemporary Art in Montréal are Georges-Vanier and Lucien-L'Allier. Both are approximately a 9-minute walk from the venue.
Does the experience take place indoors or outdoors?
This experience is held indoors in an air-conditioned venue.
How long does the experience last?
For you to have an estimate, people usually spend 45 min at this experience. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time for check-in and to store your personal belongings in a secure locker. Plan for a total of 60 minutes for the visit.
What language is the experience presented in?
The experience is offered in French and English. Please note that there are no subtitles.
Will food and beverages be available for purchase on-site?
Unfortunately, there won't be food or beverage for purchase at this event.
Is parking available?
Paid parking is available on-site for $20 taxes included (credit and debit cards only).
Will there be additional sessions?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee there will be extra dates. Please refer to the experience page for updated information on availability, as those are the confirmed dates and timings.
Will there be Virtual Reality?
This experience has the option to enjoy virtual reality for guests over 8 years old; please check if your ticket includes it.
Is there a dress code?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Heels are not advised. To ensure a proper fit with the VR headset, please avoid hats or caps. Backpacks and handbags must be stored in the provided lockers.
Will the event have merchandise for sale?
Yes! There will be merchandise for sale at the shop.
Is the experience accessible to children?
The experience is suitable for children aged 8 and up. For safety reasons, children under 8 years of age are not allowed to participate, even in the presence of an adult. Children aged 8 to 12 must be accompanied. For minors, a parent or guardian must sign a waiver on site acknowledging the risks and authorizing the child's participation in using a VR headset. Please note that the accompanying adult cannot supervise or assist the child during the experience.
How many people can participate in the experience in one group?
Groups consist of 1 to 4 people, but multiple groups may go through the experience together.
Are there potential risks associated with the experience?
This experience may affect balance and lead to a fall. It is therefore not suitable for individuals prone to vertigo, those with significant balance problems, or certain health conditions. Please inform our team before participating so that we can ensure the most comfortable experience possible. As with any VR experience, some participants may experience slight discomfort or disorientation. Individuals sensitive to motion sickness or balance issues may feel unstable or nauseous. Your safety is our priority, and we have implemented measures to assist all participants.
Is it safe to do the experience if I am pregnant?
No contraindication from the VR headset manufacturer mentions that it is unsafe to do the experience if you are pregnant. However, it is recommended to consult your doctor before your experience.
About the Tickets
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
We will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App or on the Fever website.
What payment methods are accepted on site?
We accept credit and debit cards. Cash is not accepted.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
Yes, you can purchase gift vouchers directly online with different pricing options on our ticketing page.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Don't forget to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, in the tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account you used when purchasing the tickets. If you still can't find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. One of our agents will respond to your request as soon as possible, informing you of the next steps to follow. No refunds are permitted under any circumstances. Can I make a group booking?
Yes, Eternal Notre-Dame is an excellent activity for schools looking to explore technology, art, and art history. About access to the event
Do I need to arrive before my scheduled session?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time to check in and store your belongings in a secure locker. If you arrive late, please speak with a member of staff upon arrival. We will do our best to accommodate you if possible, but your spot may be forfeited.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Due to the nature of our multi-user tracking system, service dogs are only permitted during a seated experience. This is to prevent potential collisions with other participants in the virtual environment.
Is the event venue accessible?
Yes, the event is being held in an accessible venue.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
For safety reasons, backpacks—including small ones—are not permitted during the experience. They can be stored in the provided lockers.
Is the experience safe for people with heart conditions or epilepsy?
We advise against participation for people suffering from these health issues. It is important to note that this experience contains sequences of flashing lights. If you have concerns about your health and your ability to participate, please consult your healthcare professional before attending.
Do you offer carer tickets?
Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker. For this experience, simply show proof of needing a carer ticket at the entrance and the carer will be allowed in for free.
Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired people?
At this time, subtitles or captions are not available. We recognize this may limit the experience for deaf or hard-of-hearing visitors and are working toward more inclusive solutions in the future.
Can I wear glasses?
Yes, you can wear your glasses. Staff will help you correctly position the headset. Myopic people should keep their glasses on. Reading glasses and glasses for hyperopia are not necessary. The maximum available width for glasses is 150 mm (5.9 inches). Larger frames may pose a problem, so we suggest wearing contact lenses if available.
Will there be strobe lights?
No, this event does not include strobe lights.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
The experience is designed to be continuous and involves walking for approximately 45 minutes. Wheelchairs are welcome for individuals with reduced mobility, though it may not be suitable for those with limited balance stability. If you require accommodations or need to take a break during the experience, please let our staff know in advance.
Can I participate with hearing aids?
You can participate with hearing aids, but they cannot be connected to the VR headset.
Is the experience wheelchair accessible?
The experience is accessible to people using a wheelchair, whether manual or motorized. To ensure smooth and safe movement within the immersive environment, we recommend, where possible, that motorized wheelchairs be set to manual mode. Chairs are available on site to accommodate people who need them. A complimentary ticket for an accompanying person is offered and recommended to support the experience.
Will restrooms be available on site?
This venue has restrooms—please ask our staff on site for indications.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Yes, photography and video for personal use are permitted. Please tag us at @experiencesinfinity_montreal when sharing your experience. Flash photography and tripods are not allowed. If staff appear in your content, please request their permission before posting. Professional photography requires prior approval from management.
Is there a Lost & Found?
We would recommend to ask the staff at the venue if they have found your belongings.
Is coat check available?
Yes, lockers are available for storing personal belongings. However, we recommend traveling light whenever possible.
Is there an age requirement?
This experience only allows guests above 8 years old.
Will there be an audio guide?
Unfortunately, this experience does not include an audio guide. In the VR experience, you will be accompanied by a virtual tour guide. Additionally, on-site staff can answer any further questions you may have.
