OSAKA - Ibrahim Hassan of Djibouti won the Osaka Marathon in record time on Sunday, while 2024 champion Kiyoto Hirabayashi placed fifth as the top Japanese runner.
Hassan clocked 2 hours, 5 minutes, 20 seconds, beating last year's winner, Yihunilign Adane of Ethiopia, by 13 seconds. Ezra Kipketer Tanui of Kenya was third on 2:05:55.
