There is still crappy support for Chromecast...First, it seems like the app disconnects from Chromecast when the screen is turned off.When I open the phone and change song, the Chromecast icon shows connected, but the new song I’m starting starts playing on my phone, while the other song is playing on my hifi system. Second, when I connect to Chromecast, and start a song, the song starts playing on my hifi system, but is not controllable from my phone.  I’m not able to pause the song, switch song, or do anything else on my phone which have impact on the song playing on my hifi system, even thought the Chromecast connection shows connected. Whatever I do it’s only apply to my phone speakers. The only way so solve this is to disconnect and connect again to select a new song. Earlier it was possible to set the app on pause. Then restart the app and connect again, wait a few seconds after the app is connected to Chromecast and then start the song. Then it would work. Not anymore. Annoying!

When I first started my Deezer subscription this was not an issue. But after an update, almost a year back in time, the “downloaded” play list in the Android Auto UI was integrated with a “recent played” list.So now, when I’m driving, I have to scroll through lots of albums to find the ones which are downloaded, during driving. This is a really bad design choice from the Deezer team and should be changed back to the previous “Downloaded” only list.The design is bad for driving, and bad for user experience. 

Today I’ve problem with my Deezer app v 8.0.22.4 on a Pixel 8 with Android version 14.I’m located in Europe. The music loads very slowly and it plays choppy.I’ve tried to restart my phone, and re-install the app. But of no help. Desktop mode works. Any idea what to do?

Hi,I'm new subscriber and I've experiences a few annoying things (using Android phone, with an up to date OS);1) when I select and play an album (via Chromecast Audio) it don't stop after the last song but keep on playing different songs from the same artist (or something like that) in infinity. It doesn't make any sense. It's annoying.2) and after a long time (maybe because the app soft-disconnect from Comcast), it suddenly, and somehow randomly, plays parts of different songs (just a few seconds), through the chromecast connected amplify. And I have to disconnect and reconnect the app, and start another song to make it stop. Super annoying!3) I've also even experienced that the app, randomly, starts playing songs "in the middle of the night" through the phone speakers. Maybe because it's continuously playing "the next song", after the album I listened to earlier that evening. This probably happens when the app hard-disconnect from the chromecast. Really annoying when you try to sleep
