Hey everyone.. Is anyone else facing issues with Deezer Daily Mix? The tracks shown in the mix can’t be played.. it ends up playing completely different songs that aren’t even on the list. Anyone else experiencing this?

SAME PROBLEM! been on and off doing this for a couple weeks and im sick of it.   About time to cancel Deezer. 


Hi ​@chris.selke ​@Mr. Jahrami could you please share a video with the problem that you mentioned in order to investigate? because I have not been able to reproduce it on my side on iOS.

I click the daily Featuring Amy Stroup and the playlist that appears is not it. 
also sometimes no matter what song in a playlist is clicked on the same song plays and that song isn't even on the playlist. 
 

Nothing helps, deleting app, casche, resetting WiFi and network, restarting phone, I have tried any and everything and it's making the app not enjoyable.  It usually works for maybe 2 days then it's back to being wrong daily lists issues for 3-4 days.

That’s the same issue I’m facing. It has been ongoing for almost 5 months without a fix.


Still no fix for these daily mixes. The issue remains the same.


@Jaime.Deezer I am a new subscriber and am already seeing the same issue ​@Mr. Jahrami is seeing. No matter what track I pick in the playlist, the app just plays a completely different song. And it’s always the same song. So these playlists are currently unusable for me. Restarting or reinstalling the app does not help.

So at this point you have three different people reporting the same issue. Even if you can’t replicate it on your end, clearly there is an issue making playlists unusable, which I would consider a critical bug with high priority. Happy to send you whatever other info you’d like to help debug it.

I’m also on deezer version 10.48.0 (10.48.0.3) and iOS 26.0.1 and I don’t have this issue (and never have).

You didn’t say what troubleshooting steps you’ve taken. If you’ve been through a comprehensive list with no success, perhaps a reinstall of the deezer app is in order.

I guess I disagree that three users having a problem (among the 9.2 million subscribers) equals causation involving a critical bug, but we are happy to try to help.

No correlation equaling causation here. At the same time I am speaking as a long time iOS app developer as well. The longer an issue goes unaddressed with “shrug, works for me” in response, and in the face of more raising their hands (to say nothing of the people who do not speak up), yes the higher severity/priority I *do* give it.

But yes, at this point it will likely be a far more productive conversation for me to contact support directly. Thanks for the link.


Are you a paid or free user ​@FlowerCrownedSylveon?
If you are on Deezer Free then you won’t be able to select a song from a playlist. You’ll need premium for that.
 


@Mr. Jahrami could you send a couple of screenshots or a video of the queue when you click on a daily mix and the songs that actually play when you press play?

Sending the screenshots in sequence. 

The queue and the “Now Playing” list don’t match. The song playing is different from what’s shown in the list, even though shuffle is off.


I'm trying to understand what's causing this issue. I use Deezer myself on both Android and iOS, and I've never experienced this before.

I'm currently using Deezer version 10.48.0 (10.48.0.3), and my Daily playlists play in the correct order without shuffle.

since we haven’t heard back from ​@FlowerCrownedSylveon , I am guessing they are a Free user, which means that out of the 9+ million users, we have had two reports of this “issue.” Even if we entertain the possibility of unreported cases, these are statistical outliers.

As we have all seen, issues of substance cause a flood of reports on this forum. I suspect something on the users’ end for these two anomalies.
