I always try to double click a song to play it which is faster and more intuitive than needing to hover and click on the play arrow.

Spotify supports this FWIW.

Other missing functionality that also bothers me:

• CMD+F from within a playlist to focus the playlist search text box
• Right click a song in a playlist to bring up the context menu
• Shortcut to remove the currently playing song from the playlist (i.e. un-like song). I think the only way to do this is search for the song then use the context menu (clunky)

The lack of right click and hot key support make this app feel more like a web page than an app.
