Hello,

I live in the U.S. for the past few days my app has been loading extremely slow. If I go out of the app and come back later it used to pull up the song I was last listening too, immediately. Now it takes 15-30 seconds to load all the time. This is extremely frustrating. Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

That does sound rather frustrating. I’m not sure how fast your internet connection is, or whether you’re using WiFi or LTE. There could be something going on there that’s causing the slowdown.

If that’s not the issue, you might try a few things, such as:

  • Clearing the cache

  • Increasing the Smart Cache

Mine is set to 10.6 GB and I’m not experiencing any buffering problems.

Let us know if it works.

Hello,

Thanks for responding. I just cleared the cache. It was set to 10.6 as yours was. It's just frustrating to go out of the app come back and the last thing I was listening to is no longer ready to continue listening. This is a new issue because I would be gone for days come back and the last song I was listening to would still be there .

@EljBell I’m also in the US, but not having that problem (Pixel phone).

You can also try a restart of your phone or, if it’s not too inconvenient, a reinstall of the deezer app.

Best of luck.

Thanks, I will try that. Is 8.0.45.3 the most current version of the app? That's what I currently have.

@EljBell I’m on Version 8.0.46.4

So here's an update on my issue. I've cleared cache. I even Uninstaller and reinstalled several times and it is still not working. I have a Samsung Galaxy A15. I've had very few issues with Deezer in the over 10 years I've had the app. So I'm sure that is creating more frustration for me because the app has always been reliable and now it is not. If anyone has any other suggestions on how to resolve this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

Lastly it also now doesn't pull up the last song I listen to at all. Before it was at least 15-30 seconds. But now it doesn't at all.
