An American actress who was born in Los Angeles, California, USA. She got married and gave birth to her son Richard. Afterwards, she married actor Harry Hayden (1924-1955) and gave birth to her son Don, and her husband Harry remained with her until his death. Her most important works include The Stu Erwin Show (1951-1955), Blondie (1957), The Snake Pit (1948), and The Twilight Zone (1959). She played supporting roles in Hollywood films and began her artistic career in the silent era of cinema with Pretty Mrs. Smith (1915). She worked in local theater until she returned to the cinema with the movie Hitch Hike to Heaven (1936). She and her husband Harry Hayden also ran Bliss-Hayden School of Acting in Beverly Hills, one of the oldest acting schools and theaters in Los Angeles, California. She made her last appearance in the TV series That Girl (1967), and then she retired from acting. She died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA on May 15, 1980.
