A Swiss actor and producer, born in Winterthur, Switzerland. After training in acting at the renowned Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and making his debut at the Burgtheater in Vienna, he worked in various theaters in Germany for the next few years, most recently at the Residenztheater in Munich. In New York, he honed his acting skills internationally, and since then, he has worked as a freelance actor and occasional producer in film and theater. Stefan had his first international film experience in 1986 in Spain in the film El río de oro with Angela Molina. He then went on to work in films such as Dreissig Jahre (1989), Brandnacht (1992), and the series Sternenfänger (2002).
