New Zealand writer and producer, born in Auckland. After attending Massey High School, she enrolled part-time at the University of Auckland, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and History in 1994. In 2006, she was given the university's Distinguished Alumni Award. She co-wrote the screenplays for Peter Jackson's films, and her most famous works include The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Lord of the Rings: The Return. of the King (2003), The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), and Mortal Engines (2018). |
