Greetings and salutations! Welcome to Draggian Universe, the deific domain and/or diary of your most esteemed and exalted Enforcer (they/them or xe/xem, he/him acceptable), your friendly neighborhood demon snake. BTdubstep, the Enforcer is queer, trans, and neurodivergent, abortion and gender-affirming care are necessary healthcare and are human rights, Black Lives Matter, and the climate crisis is real and requires urgent action. If you think any of those things are "debates" or actively chose to vote against my survival (i.e. Republican or equivalent), get out.
Here you can find a variety of things, including a Pokemon Go-inspired Pokemon world AU, mostly reptilian OCs, information about Enforcer themself, more about questionable bands than you've ever wanted to know, and anything else Enforcer cares to add. I can do whatever I want and there's nothing you can do about it. This website is not part of any online "community" or "movement" that I didn't consent to join. If you want to learn more about this website, how to navigate it, and the entity behind the curtain, go to my about.
Pages on this website may contain the following elements. Please keep this in mind while browsing. If you want a warning or heads-up somewhere there isn't one now, contact Enforcer and they'll add it for you.
- Bright colors/eyestrain, including in animated GIFs. The flashiest GIFs have been quarantined to my stimboard, but I do use GIFs on other pages and bright colors in character designs.
- Javascript. Theme switching and some visual elements use Javascript. No external scripts are used for anything but webrings and embeds of interactive elements. All embedded elements are also linked.
- Potentially disturbing story content. Information is provided on all character and writing pages for your experience-curation purposes.
- Swearing and "adult themes". Most work averages PG-13 thematically. Individual content warnings for heavier works are provided. In general, the seven dirty words are fair game, but I don't draw or describe in detail anything you couldn't show on television.
Everything on this site was either created by Enforcer or edited from Neopets images unless otherwise credited. Don't use anything that isn't on the free-to-use graphics page, but feel free to ask coding questions or view source code. If anything I made is in a generative model's training data, it's against my will. This website contains no artificially generated imagery / video, audio, code, or text, unless a music video or song I'm reviewing uses them.
Old Updates | To-dos / Planned Updates
2026-03-03 - There's a new OC page, for dual-Pokesonas Zahori & Verse. They've also been added to and given a bio on the All OCs page. Mr. Goated, Situations, Crotalyx, and Revelation's pages now have hash links for subsections, and tarot deck art has been added. The CSS for anchored navigation bars got a minor tweak so the bottoms of pages should no longer be cut off if you scroll all the way down on desktop.
2026-03-02 - The to-do list and 2026 goals have been updated in order to better align with my morale and energy level, and had outdated items removed. I also have a new OC concept that will go on the site this week, and the nonhumanity blog post has been updated to align with my understanding of myself as a snake refining since 2024.
2026-02-21 - The Neopets backgrounds page is now officially, as far as I know, complete! Because over 2,000 PNGs on one page would be a bit much, it's been subdivided alphabetically. Division by theme / subject will come soon.
2026-02-19 - The art portfolio has been updated with 2026 digital art thus far, including two new Neopets pics and all of the tarot cards in one place. Terms and conditions for commissions / trades have also had some wording updates for clarity.
2026-02-17 - There's a new miscellaneous rambling, featuring my analysis and review of the movie 100% Wolf.
2026-02-12 - __G0pHeR__ and Sparkleronnie now have bios on the page about my Neopets, I'm playing a new game and learning some Canadian French in the process so I stuck my Lingo Legend referral on the homepage, and there's a new widget in the sidebar (bottom of the page on mobile) for a "song of the day", or other time interval, based on what gets stuck in my head each morning. I'm also now part of the CDRing webring.
2026-02-06 - I did the 2026 Global Game Jam and then immediately got sick. The tarot deck + Javascript interface I made for it is now linked on the homepage in case you haven't seen it yet. A table of all the images and descriptions by themselves is coming "soon". Fonts are now being served up locally for all pages, which should improve cross-platform appearance. Lists on the homepage have gotten a minor style update. Finally, some new information that helps clarify points in I Can Explain Ch. 7 has come out from someone who was allegedly in prison with Ronnie, so it's been copied there with sources backed up.
2026-01-28 - Since I'm finally for reals permaquitting and liquidating Lorwolf, the versions of the RRverse throuple I made on there have been immortalized on the RRverse gallery page. My sona's Neopet now has a bio on the Neopets hub page for my pets, and everyone now has links to their lookup on OG Neo and/or virtu.pet. Finally, the petsite list got some text fixes in line with my deleting a bunch of unused accounts.
2026-01-26 - The Neopets hub page has gotten its first major update since its creation, with an in-progress page for all my pets with information about them and shiny things to look at. Right now, it's basically just a table of their customs and Petpets.
2026-01-19 - I'm back. I got (post-)hardcore possessed this weekend, and the Ronnie Slime infection wanted to make itself known, so I've got a sub-site / shrine for my evil tendencies now.
2026-01-11 - The Music Scene album review pages got a coding fix which should make the album covers display in the right place on mobile now. They, and some other Music Scene pages, also got modern parenthetical formatting and general text fixes for clarity.
2026-01-10 - Several new CDs, including bios and booklet / insert scans, have been added to the CD collection page. The CD scans and I Can Explain inserts are also now linked on the graphics page, since they are also free to use graphics.
2026-01-06 - The Music Scene hub has two new, related reports: one about Mandy Murders and how she probably never actually dated either Ronnie or Craig, and one about the Q&A and VIP experience I attended for an Escape the Fate show in Tucson last year.
2026-01-05 - The Neopets SWF backgrounds have been moved to their own page to save space on the graphics page and make them visible again without throttling the loading times too much, and some new ones have been added. Also, Microsoft Snakes for Hissi colors new in 2025 and the virtu.pet versions of Island and Desert are now on the graphics page.
2026-01-03 - The tattoo log has been updated with my new piece from January 1st, and the two older ones that weren't there before.
2025-12-30 - The thoughts archive has been restyled to use relative element sizing and make dates look nicer. Also, my old Santae lookup has been copied and backed up here, so you can see my army of edgy demon snakes.
2025-12-27 - I made an archive folder of every item / goat image from Goatlings, which is now linked on the Goatlings hub page. The Goatlings subpages also got some text and formatting fixes in line with Goatlings' closure, and outdated information removed.
2025-12-23 - My sona's page got some minor text and formatting fixes. Most notably, the section for my IRL cosplay gear now looks nicer. Parentheticals in this changelog now look nicer, too, because I changed them to the grey-colored parenthetical class. Also, Goatlings is shutting down. Its hub page and subpages got some text fixes accordingly and have had direct links to goatlings.com removed. My archived goat bios and art I commissioned / otherwise received from Goatlings will stay up. I don't know other usernames for the folks I got art from who are credited with Goatlings, so if you do, or any of that art is yours, contact me (email, Flight Rising DM, or site comment) with the image URL and what the credit should be changed to. Direct Goatlings links will be removed from other pages sometime, but are not a priority.
2025-12-22 - The commissions page got some more examples, images moved off Imgur, and some points in its terms clarified. I'm on break until January 5th, so this is the perfect time to commission me if you wanted to.
2025-12-21 - Joyous [winter / summer] solstice! 2025 has been added to the yearly recaps page, individual Pokemon blog posts now have hash links for easier navigation, and Good Girls / Bad Guys now has individual chapter links on the RRverse hub. A few minor typos / grammatical errors in previously published stories were fixed.
2025-12-20 - Obsolete / outdated posts have been removed from the Pokemon blog, the thoughts archive has been updated, and various fanfics got text fixes for consistency with Reverse Mode III and the upcoming retooled In Which Zane Is Produced.
2025-12-17 - Reverse Mode III, the most important story of the Dudesverse 2023 backlog (and arguably its most important story for Arlo's arc, period) is finally done and uploaded! It's also the absolute darkest story that has ever been part of the Dudesverse, and arguably the darkest thing I've ever written, so details on its content warnings can be found on the Dudesverse hub. I recommend reading Reverse Mode II if you haven't (or just to refresh your memory) before RM3, since the latter is a direct sequel to it unlike most Dudesverse stories being pretty self-contained. Some other fanfics got minor text and link fixes, so Ronnie's Awakening should have all its previous / next chapter links working properly now.
2025-12-12 - There's a new miscellaneous blog post about how the concept of "brainrot" is just cringe culture and every other kind of "things kids and/or autistic people enjoy are inherently bad!" rhetoric with a new coat of paint, and nonsensical catchphrases kids repeat are nothing new. Read it here. Also, there's a new RRverse fanfic from the 2023 backlog, encompassing the very important moment where Alt!Ronnie finally realizes he's into guys. Or more poetically, Ronnie's Awakening.
2025-12-10 - NeOCities-tober 2025 pics have been added to the art portfolio page. I think I sorted the "digital art" vs. "phone doodles" correctly, but honestly, I can no longer tell the difference unless I look really closely at brush edges.
2025-12-08 - I'm still alive and in progress fanfics are chugging along. The thoughts archive has been updated with several WIPs and production lore for the in progress stories. My to-do list has also been updated with the 2026 resolutions for the site. Oh, and a truly absurd number of Neopets SWF backgrounds have been added to the graphics page.
2025-11-23 - Some IRL Ronnie events happened that I was simply contractually required to write about, so there's a new RRverse vignette. It's a bit short to consider a story, but you can read it if you'd like. It's about the Pokemon TCG, which exists in-universe and is even less cool for a 41-year-old man to get into than it is in our world.
2025-11-18 - what's up I am literally dying is your latest fashion in physical form so look at my dragons right now
2025-11-17 - The Dudesverse and RRverse hub pages have gotten a minor text update clarifying the difference between content and trigger warnings in story descriptions. Also, the thoughts archive subpages got some superfluous thoughts removed and their images moved off of Imgur, so they should work for UK users now. That's the only place that still hosts images offsite, save my art page, and is never going to be moved to onsite because I'm not made of storage space.
2025-11-10 - There's a new Dudesverse fanfic, whose core concept can be summed up by its title: Arlo Steals A Pokestop. Not stealing from the Pokestop, mind you. Stealing the whole thing. If you want to know anything more, you'll have to read it: this one's actually about Pokemon Go, has some cute references for veterans, and is 99% Ronnie-free!
2025-11-09 - The long-pending Go Fest 2025 Dudesverse fanfic is finally done, and hopefully it's worth the wait -- it's got cute kid shenanigans, some long-foreshadowed character development from Arlo's past, and a surprising amount of Pokemon League political worldbuilding. Also, the color of fanfic author's notes was tweaked to look better in dark mode.
2025-11-07 - The unified OC page is now completed, with descriptions and helpful links for each of my creative worlds and art permissions copied from Art Fight. The end of year 2025 goals on my to-do list / goals for the site got readjusted to be more plausible, because the Huge Backlog that I Must Finish By The End Of The Year was the opposite of motivating. Some other items there got clarification and/or nicer text formatting. The yearly recaps page also got text formatting improvements and out of date information removed.
2025-11-04 - Hurika now has a better bio on her page. Everyone now has bios on the unified OC page, so it'll be finished once I figure out a layout and add the explanations of each of my worlds. Various WHATverse pages including the WHATverse / general concepts world page have gotten minor text fixes for consistency.
2025-11-02 - Anchored navbars now sit at the bottom of the screen, so they won't cut off the tops of sections you click to anymore. Unanchored navigation bars got some minor visual tweaks to fix some margin glitches.
2025-11-01 - What rounds to literally every page on the site has been updated because navigation bars and dark / light mode switching have been revamped! Navigation bars are now a lot cleaner both for the viewer and me on the code side, don't require JS to use anymore (although theme switching does), and preserve your light / dark mode choices across pages. Various pages got minor formatting fixes while I was there. Most notably, the Miscellaneous Fanfictiony Musings on the Music Scene Hub got a much clearer and more concise description that better describes the difference between them and the RRverse.
2025-10-31 - NeOCities-tober 2025 is done, so has a shiny image calendar with all its pics! 2024 and 2023 also got shiny calendars with style updates. The main Dudesverse / RRverse info / non-story pages got some stylesheet updates for consistency and appearance improvement.
2025-10-30 - There's a new RRverse fanfic, which is unique in that it's centered on an OC other than Arlo and 06. It's also my first multi-HTML-page story since Ronnie Redux, and my take on / skewering the heck out of semi-horny Internet transformation fiction, with the same strategies the RRverse applies to band fanfiction in general and In Which OTL Gets Pregnant applies to Mpreg. This story completely hijacked my plans to work on my backlog over OCtober 2025, but I'm really proud of it so I'm not apologizing for that. Read Good Girls / Bad Guys for more. Also, the button marquee here on the homepage (desktop only, mobile users / very small screens will find buttons down below with webrings) for affiliates is now a modern CSS animation, so should serve the same purpose of getting all the sidebar buttons in a space-saving format while working on more browsers.
2025-10-28 - Text on my About has been cleaned up for clarity and formatting, and some obsolete boxes have been removed.
2025-10-19 - There's a new Pokemon blog post, that actually pertains to Pokemon Go. It's about wearables I'd like to see in Go.
2025-10-14 - There's a new Dudesverse fanfic, a short piece about some awkwardness caused by the Changing Scales arc at Arlo's workplace. Read Claws For Concern for more, and yes, I stand by that pun.
2025-10-13 - Font sizes have been changed to relative, and fonts + sizes have been made more consistent, pretty much everywhere.
2025-10-04 - Crotalyx, the protagonist of the HRT That Makes You A Snake Ninjago AU, now has a ref. You can see it on their page or the All OCs page, and read about its creation on the NeOCities-tober 2025 page.
2025-10-01 - NeOCities-tober 2025 has officially kicked off!
2025-09-30 - There's a new miscellaneous rambling about cryptids / monsters / mythical creatures / etc. and why they're not real, using ecology for my arguments. You can read it here.
2025-09-28 - I switched my main Frivolity Computer to Linux Mint, and ended up blogging it to my thoughts.page, and thought that was interesting enough to copy to here. In case you want yet another opinion on Linux from yet another Windows-origin Neocitizen. At least it's got Flight Rising scries in it; that's different. The saga is not over yet, because I need to set up dual booting for Clip Studio among other things.
2025-09-26 - There's a page on the Music Scene Hub for my specific favorite songs / primary playlist, to go with the broader band opinions on the spreadsheet. Also, the Goatlings hub subpages got their navigation improved, and the addition that no, I will not be making goats retroactively for FIR songs released after 2024.
2025-09-20 - My daily schedule for NeOCities-tober 2025 has been written out, and a page for the challenge is now up. Updates there will start October 1st. There's also a new Dudesverse one-shot story elaborating further on the unexpected joys and biological details of the Changing Scales arc. Read Draconic Discoveries if you're curious, but maybe not at school or work. It's by far the spiciest thing I have ever published.
2025-09-16 - I See Stars, of all bands, released a new album earlier this week, so it got a video / audio reaction on Something Approaching A Scene Podcast. It also includes a bonus webinar about I See Stars in general and their relation to general Scenemo Canon history and Falling In Reverse, and audio only versions of both since the music videos aren't all that important. You can watch / listen via the embeds here on Neocities, or with full quality on PeerTube.
2025-09-13 - Added some 2025 art pieces I missed to the art page. The Popular Monster (2024) review page also got some minor text fixes for clarity and improved formatting. XZNT now has a bio on the all OCs page.
2025-09-11 - Elaphe and DW now have bios on the unified OC page.
2025-08-31 - Several characters who previously didn't now have bios on the unified OC page. Info there has also been streamlined. Crotalyx / the HRT That Makes You A Snake Ninjago AU, Mr. Goated, Revelation, and Situations have all gotten some minor layout and text updates for consistency with other OC pages, including some new information.
2025-08-30 - Non-canon Dudesverse / RRverse stories I've requested, commissioned, or been gifted now have a page. This features some never-before-seen on this website writing. The main Dudesverse and RRverse pages also now have better navigation to their subpages. The thoughts.page archive has also been updated with several longer than average posts slash mini-essays.
2025-08-28 - A couple of OCs now have ugly, unformatted bios and stats on the All OCs page. Revelation, the edgy Necrozma / Giratina fusion from NeOCities-tober 2024, now has a page to themself with basic bio info and so I have somewhere to put future art for them. These kids are not a priority vs. the fanfic backlog, FYI.
2025-08-27 - The Dudesverse worldbuilding page has a new tidbit about the Pokemon League, and got some minor clarifications and splitting up of paragraphs elsewhere. There's also a new bullet point, and more clarity on my stance on shipping "discourse", on the unified opinions page.
2025-08-25 - There's a new Pokemon blog post about Arceus, my problems with its canon lore, and why I chose for the Dudesverse to have it not exist. That page has also been rearranged so the section that actually updates is first: the idea of blogging about me playing Pokemon Go was more interesting in 2022 than it is now. Me playing a video game isn't that interesting, there are tons of other Pokemon Go gameplay blogs out there, and the Dudesverse fills my niche of commentary on events. Various pages also got minor text fixes and I have a new affiliate site, so check them out.
2025-08-22 - All CDs on the collection page now have full liner note scans and basic info up. Bios for ones that don't currently have them are coming at some point, but not a priority: many of the albums, I don't have much to individually say about distinct from my broad opinion of the bands, and broad band opinions go on the Scene Spreadsheet.
2025-08-18 - Two more CDs have completed collection pages: Yesterdays Rising - Lightworker and Strikeforce Diablo - The Albatross And The Architect. Low update today because I did a lot last night and stayed up too late doing it. Also, I am participating in the YouTube boycott, but streaming links are staying up for informational purposes and in the interest of folks using proxies or downloaders. I'm personally sticking to FreeTube, but it's up to each viewer's discretion what they're comfortable with and important to my mission to have links to albums where they exist. Go download FreeTube right now, and a browser extension to automatically open Yewchube links there. (and if you want to download things from Yewchube, check my techy links for a patch for 4K YouTube To MP3.)
2025-08-17 - A bunch of CDs from my collection now have full liner note scans and individual pages that didn't before; check the CD collection page for which ones. Also, some new scene assessment blog posts are up on the thoughts.page archive and a new band got assessed for the spreadsheet and added to the Like Falling In Reverse With Less Nonsense list.
2025-08-16 - To all Bureau of Edge affiliates: A new report has been uploaded detailing some vital developments in Project PM2024.
2025-08-15 - The site to-dos page now canonically lists my top priorities and what I want to do by the end of the year. Please bug me about how I'm doing on them. Also added some art by others that I didn't realize I hadn't added (I uploaded it to the site, but never put it up on the page) to Enforcer's gallery page and did some retooling of priorities for the Bureau of Edge / Ronnie Slime lorebase on grounds of how Falling In Reverse is destroying itself and the very fans who inspired it aren't acting quite as slimy anymore. (they're still awful people, but for reasons with little to do with FIR.) An in-character Bureau of Edge update about this may be coming soon.
2025-08-12 - Liner notes for all Falling In Reverse albums are now scanned and uploaded to the Music Scene hub. Backend stuff is done for the CDs page. All liner notes are uploaded and HTML pages for albums are set up and linked on the index page.
2025-08-08 - I'm moved into the new home base in Canada, for the most part, and my dear sweet darling boy got me a moving away present. It's awful. Video reaction / review of new Falling In Reverse song All My Women can be found on PeerTube or here, and it's been added to the text reviews of miscellaneous FIR singles.
2025-07-30 - New miscellaneous blog post. It's about Burmese pythons, poorly executed legislation to manage them as an invasive species in the US, and maybe some parallels to other, less snaky (except for me) situations. Putting on my science educator hat, which I don't usually do on Neocities, so it's a real treat. Read it here.
2025-07-27 - The unified All OCs page now has hotlinking-friendly File Garden uploads of refs and links to pages for everybody. This is for my convenience in requesting art, mostly.
2025-07-26 - There's a new info / lore box on my sona's page talking more about the distinction between their snake and human forms and how they work lore-wise.
2025-07-23 - I was going through my phone's notes app and found a fully completed miscellaneous blog post I fully forgot to post when I wrote it in November 2024. So it's finally up. Read it here.
2025-07-22 - I now have commissions open for USD. View that page to see what I offer.
2025-07-21 - The RRverse page's intro description has been cleaned up and clarified to better align with what the modern RRverse actually is, since I've ditched the notion of claiming it's written by Arlo within the Dudesverse for the most part.
2025-07-18 - There's a new RRverse fanfic, a very short, self-indulgent fluff piece I thought up last night based on some recent FIR happenings. Read it here. Also, Ronnie did guest vocals on the latest single from *gag* Slaughter to Prevail, so I was contractually obligated as a Ronnie Scholar to review / react to it on Something Approaching A Scene Podcast. You can find the video here or on PeerTube.
2025-07-15 - The first CD collection subpage, for my beloved Dying Is Your Latest Fashion is up, including full liner note scans. It also features the custom hoodie I made for it and want to show off, until I make a proper "shrine" page.
2025-07-12 - There's a new RRverse fanfic, whose title says it all: In Which OTL Ronnie Gets Pregnant. To figure out how that happened, how badly he reacts, and how this is totally justified within real 2024-25 FIR events, well, you'll have to read it.
2025-07-11 - The CD collection page on the Music Scene Hub has been updated with some new discs. Liner note scans are coming soon; I finally got them all cropped and rotated.
2025-07-08 - I made a page talking about my real life tattoos, which currently has a description (copied from Neopets) of the motivation behind and experience of getting the UC Darigan Hissi I now have wrapping around my left arm. Other backstories and descriptions for the ones I've gotten previously are coming soon; other than that, I'll add new ones to the page as I get them. (This isn't just me; it's also got an art / OC purpose in providing detailed refs for the tattoos which will appear on my sona's upcoming revamped ref.)
2025-07-07 - All fanfic stories now have their content / trigger warnings from the index pages copied onto their HTML files, or first chapters for multi-page stories.
2025-07-04 - Popular Monster (2024)'s liner notes from its CD booklet have been scanned and are up on the Music Scene hub. You can see them here or linked from the review page or Music Scene index. Other liner note scans, from Falling In Reverse and otherwise, are coming soon. Also, after they were scanned and ripped, I set the booklet and disc on fire. You can watch that via Something Approaching A Scene Podcast here or on PeerTube.
2025-06-20 - There's a new Music Scene page, reporting all mentions of Ronnie from his ex-girlfriend Saraya's recently released memoir. It also has a cute picture of my pet python and a mini-lit review about biofeedback, so what's not to like?
2025-06-14 - The Goatlings page and its subpages have received some minor text and coding fixes.
2025-06-01 - Happy Pride Month! I'm finally getting back into taking on the Dudesverse 2023 backlog with the story in which Arlo gets top surgery. Entitled In Which Arlo Gets Top Surgery because that's what I've been calling it for the past 2 years and I can't think of a better title for it.
2025-05-29 - There's a new custom Neopets graphic edit that players of Neo / clones may find useful on the graphics page.
2025-05-20 - A new Falling In Reverse single came out today. It definitely is a Falling In Reverse song from 2025, for a certain value of Falling In Reverse. You can find the text review of it here with the other FIR single reviews and my initial video reaction / review on Something Approaching A Scene Podcast here and on PeerTube.
2025-05-15 - My sona page has now been updated with the IRL cosplay gear based on them I've made or commissioned!
2025-04-29 - The nonhuman IDs on my about and various things on my term card have been cleaned up / expanded for clarity.
2025-04-28 - There's a new research post on the Music Scene Hub, featuring a Powerpoint about Ronnie I made in 2023, and that's all I have to say about it. It's got APA style primary literature citations and everything.
2025-04-19 - I have some new under-construction lore / OC pages with nothing to do with any previous worlds, since I realized I can just do that. Check out my HRT That Makes You A Snake / VERY loose baby-Enforcer-2012-Lego-Ninjago AU and Mr. Goated, my disgusting Fashionably Late goat-demon vent sona thing who I never intended to actually give a ref, but my mutuals really liked the sketch sheet so... There's going to eventually be a unified landing page for all my OCs / AUs / etcetera with info and refs in one place for my and your convenience, but it's also presently under construction.
2025-04-15 - My stimboard has been moved to onsite image hosting and has a bunch of new GIFs. All music scene pages also are now hosting audio / video links and embeds onsite (except Something Approaching A Scene Podcast because its videos were very large and loaded slowly), which means the I Can Explain chapter summaries get their song links back. The I Can Explain pages also got some minor text fixes and analytical notes have been replaced with links to the research reports page to minimize redundancy. You shouldn't see it during normal operations, but the 404 page got a facelift too. You can see it here if you're curious.
2025-04-14 - The sitemap on the homepage has been streamlined for efficiency, and my primary 88*31 button has been replaced. I've dropped the Windows XP gimmick for the site, so the new one, as well as not being from 2021, better captures the look and feel. If you were hotlinking it from the site or File Garden, it'll update automatically. If you weren't, please update your image embeds.
2025-04-09 - The Music Scene Hub now has a page for my real life CD collection, faithfully reproduced in digital form. Once I finish getting them cropped, rotated, pieced together, etcetera, you'll be able to click the albums to learn more about them and view all their inserts and liner notes, but for now you can see the fun little grid and CSS animations. Fun fact, all animations on that page are completely Javascript-free.
2025-04-08 - There's a new miscellaneous rambling about an old OC who was more influential slash predictive than I gave them credit for back in 2018. Read it here. Also added some 2025 art pieces I previously forgot to my art portfolio, including a new one that goes with the blog post.
2025-04-07 - I now have an archive page for things from my thoughts.page I thought were sufficiently useful, interesting, and/or funny as to be worth preserving.
2025-04-05 - The updated Goatlings hub is finally finished with the porting of my HA Buddy archive.
2025-04-01 - There's a new music scene research blog post thing about how, no fooling, April or otherwise, Dying Is Your Latest Fashion is probably actually more popular and has / had more fans, cultural impact and exposure, and album sales than its FIR counterparts, despite how TDIMIY and Popular Monster (2024) technically have RIAA gold and it doesn't. It's got math in it and a list of citations at the end. And I showed my work so you can do your own math to double-check.
2025-03-31 - The free-to-use graphics page has finally been moved to hosting images onsite, and there are also a few new things on there I forgot to previously add.
2025-03-29 - I recorded a new Something Approaching A Scene Podcast episode about the new Memphis May Fire album. It ended up being audio-only against my will because across two different recording programs, neither gave me functional video. So if you want to read my rant about OBS, or get some discussion of the role of electronic elements in modern metalcore and how MMF exemplifies that in Shapeshifter, check it out.
2025-03-17 - There's a new Dudesverse fanfic, a follow-up to Changing Scales with a similar focus on Pokemon biology. To oversimplify, it's about trans Shadow Pokemon, something Arlo is unsurprisingly fascinated with. Read it here.
2025-03-15 - Message for all Bureau affiliates: The Dark Slime is rising. Log in here to access essential documents.
2025-03-14 - Dead Rabbitts (the side project from Craig of Escape the Fate featuring bunnies) released a new album today, so I recorded a Something Approaching A Scene Podcast episode / reaction and review video about it. You can find it embedded there or on PeerTube once it's done transcoding, and can comment and like and subscribe and all that Yewchube-y stuff on PeerTube too if you want.
