Additional Information
Multi-Currency Payouts
For Checkout.com processing channels configured with multiple currencies, each currency has a unique "Currency Account ID".
The Currency Account ID in the transaction payload sent to Checkout.com determines the processing path.
If you use multiple currencies in your Checkout.com processing channels, you must provide us with the IDs for each Currency Account, and their corresponding currencies.
Currency Account usage can be configured in two ways:
Type | Description |
---|---|
Currency based selection | Based on the currency of the transaction, we can automatically select the appropriate Currency Account to include in the payload. |
Currency Account Override | If you wish for the currency account to be static for a given retail channel, you can inform us which of the Currency Accounts you wish to use, and this will be included in the payload regardless of the currency of transactions being sent for processing. |
To configure multi-currency payouts, please contact our support team.
SCA Exemptions
BR-DGE allows you to request an SCA Exemption during authorisation via Checkout.com, potentially bypassing a 3-D Secure challenge.
To send an SCA Exemption to Checkout.com via BR-DGE, use the scaExemption
field in your POST /v1/payments
API request.
For more information on SCA Exemptions, refer to our dedicated SCA guide.

Once enabled on your BR-DGE retail channels, you can begin testing Checkout.com using their dedicated test cards and scenarios.
