たいていのサメは噛みつくときに前に伸びた鼻先が邪魔になりそうなものですが、 頭骨とアゴの骨は分離していて、前にアゴを突き出すことができます。 飛び出すアゴはミツクリザメ（ゴブリンシャーク）が有名ですが、 イラストはホホジロザメにしました。
