ノッチフルート（ペンタトニック管）製作中 ～指孔あけ調律後～ オリジナルノッチフルートは吹口がケーナや尺八のような刻み（ノッチ）のあるたて笛です。 音階はダイヤトニック（７音階ドレミ調）が定番ですが、 今回は依頼を受けてペンタトニック（５音階）で製作しています。 依頼の管種はLowD管ですが、合わせてＥ管とＦ♯管も製作しています。 LowＤ管はイチョウ材、Ｅ管はヨーロッパビーチ材、F♯管はクリ材です。 指孔の押え易さやオーバーブロウ（吹越し倍音）を出すために、管を太くしたり、指孔を変えています。 音配列はLowＤ管なら、下からＤＦＧＡＣＤですが、これは尺八と全く同じです。 しかし、管長や指孔の位置は尺八とは大きく違っています。 写真１：ノッチフルートペンタ管 上から２本ずつ LowD（イチョウ）、Ｅ（ヨーロッパビーチ）、Ｆ♯（クリ） 写真２：同じ音配列の（上）ノッチフルートペンタトニックＤ管と（下）延管尺八Ｄ管（最上孔は裏面にある）
