14 Days With You is an upcoming romantic horror visual novel centred around Ren, a mysterious individual who seems more than obsessed with you — and is willing to do anything he can to have you.

It's very likely those DLCs weren't 18+, since they do not apply to Itch's current payment restrictions. The FAQ has more information on this. Also, just so there's no confusion, this comment section is primarily for the base game; any DLC comments should be left on the DLC's page instead.

Hello, I've paid 14nwy and i js cant get into it, like its downloaded and everything but it keeps sending me something that keeps saying ''sorry, but theres an unexpected error occuring'' i think ive feddled with something that it now refuses to let me play? I'm unsure, I think its because I tried opening it on the 14dwy map and dont ask me how the hell i tried or did that, i just kind of did?? I don't know, could you help??

Hey, I just tried out 14 Days With You today. It was a great experience so far! I'm for sure a fan or RomHorror. This is one that i will be purchasing when it comes out on steam. Already added it on my wish list.
I'm very interested in seeing how the story plays out further. I got my first "dead end" on day 4. I thought my game was having an error loading the 5th episode, but it's fine. lol I don't think this counts as spoilers because it's just speculation but i am so curious whats going on with Ren. It seems like there is a technical yet supernatural element going on with him. Is he a ghost? is he a program come to life? I'm not sure. but then he has a house and someones he messages? so maybe he's real? I'm also debating between whether Ren has multiple personalities and if there might be a totally separate stalker/killer on the loose. Ren seems to have two distinct sides to him but the sweet one doesn't seem worried about letting MC get close to him in fear of another personality coming out. So, I don't know! Overall, it adds a really nice mystery to the story that kept me guessing and engaged. Everyone's so dang cute too. It's nice that the MC has personality traits of their own along with our decision making. They are consistently zoning out and have holes in their memory, they also rationalize and dismiss a lot but not enough that they become unrealistic. Like they dismiss cloths not being piled like they thought or a cup being darker then they remember, but the bigger things will get called out. That's great and really important. Likewise, I like that Ren has a habit of consistently muttering to himself.
There's one mechanic that i don't fully understand and that's when i noticed the little hearts by characters names changing. I'm assuming that for the MC's level of love and friendship between them. If that is an affinity bar, I guess one critiques is that there aren't many options to raise affinity with the other characters yet.

As you can see in the image above, i have the option to repair such files, and when i did, i was unable to open the application afterwards. this has also occurred for other games i downloaded from itch.io, such as Incursion, another well-made and legit game which i have played before.
I don't know if that was added to the file after i downloaded this game or not, but you should probably investigate that sooner rather than later, because i love this game but i can't play it until i know its safe again.
Can you confirm that this was from a recent download taken from this Itch page, and possibly name the virus scanner you used as well? I've tried to scan the Mac version of the file myself via multiple online resources and was not able to detect any malware. I've also asked to confirm if it came from this specific Itch page, as there are malicious websites out there who've redistributed the game and DLC with malware. It's possible you might've accidentally downloaded from the wrong website. (edit: I've since scanned the Windows version as well and found nothing.)
After doing a quick google search, I've noted that "Cobalt Strike" is an official and commercial platform used mainly by cybersecurity professionals to detect and simulate potential threats to a program. Since it only supports Windows users, all Mac and Linux users need to depend on "CrossC2" to extend its command-and-control (CD) capabilities. As you've used the Mac version, it theoretically makes sense for "CrossC2" to be present.
With that being said, bear in mind that I am not the developer (I am just an Itch moderator), but I believe this was just a false positive flagged by your malware scanner. I'd suggest trying others to see if you get a similar result.
Thank you for the reply, i downloaded the game directly from the downloads page, clicked through the pick your price thing and hit download on the mac version. this happened with my very old download then another one i downloaded five minutes before scanning it and got the same result. I use VirusBarrier Scanner. i'll try this with other scanners and get back to you. i just find it really annoying since i haven't had this problem before. thanks again!

Hello! I felt I needed to write a review here eventually, I've been following this project for a while now and I absolutely adore i! Ren is such a cutiepie I even have him as my computer background :) I'm always going to be waiting for more patiently don't worry about people trying to rush you or anything I think the way you are doing this is perfect and ensures that you are making this because you WANT to make this and personally I think thats when people make there best work. I've looked at your tumblr quite a bit and i'm VERY excited for a "certain someone" to finally show up! as well! who knows how long it will be until then but i'll be here i just want my boi to be able to be goth ;-; hope everything is going well for you!!!! (sorry if this is messy im autistic and suck at writing)

It's been a long time since I played this game, and when I come back to play it to relive the nostalgia, I discover that they updated it and removed the +18 scenes with Ren, and that now we can only have them if we pay for the DLC. This is annoying; not all of us can afford the DLC, you know. It's frustrating to know that this update took that away from us. The game was much better before this update.😒😶🫠😢

Please read the DLC page carefully and try not to spread misinformation in the comment section. There is currently a free version of the DLC which includes all the original 18+ scenes from the game, and it has always been available to download since the first major update (and release of the 18+ DLC). You do not need to pay for it and it will always remain free. This is also specified in the "Day 5.5" devlog on Itch.
The paid version of the DLC, however, offers bonus content that is entirely new such as top, bottom, and verse variations, new encounters and dialogue options, additional 18+ scenes, and eventually new CG art. Again, the DLC page outlines the differences between the free and paid version if you'd like to know more.
Lastly, as other commenters have said, the paid version is locked behind a price tag to discourage minors from accessing it, to offer a way to support the creator, and to help provide the funding needed for future updates like voice acting and language translations. Please keep in mind that 14DWY is an indie project developed by one person, and she is offering the full game, its future updates, and the original 18+ scenes to the public for free. While you are not obligated to spend $2 on the paid version of the DLC, you've always had the option to use the free version at no cost at all. So please do not spread misinformation about there being no free option available.
Well, I'm not underage or anything, and I even tried to buy the DLC a few times, but it always gives an error. Anyway, that wasn't the point. The thing is, when I downloaded the game, I enabled the +18 options and everything that appeared on the initial screen, but as the game progresses, none of those +18 options appear like they did before during the story.
Make sure to read the FAQ, as it explains why you are unable to purchase the DLC. Also, if possible, please visit the"14 Nights With You" Itch page and provide a screenshot of how you've installed the DLC so I can try to help you further. As stated above, this comment section is mainly for the base game, and any DLC concerns should be directed to the DLC page.
The problem isn't the DLC; it's as I said, after the update the demo changed, and the scenes that were previously in the game simply don't appear anymore. I even clicked that I'm of legal age when that option appears on the initial screen, but nothing changes.
If the scenes are not appearing even after enabling the correct settings, then it means there is something wrong with the DLC. Choosing the 18+ option at the start does not impact the DLC in any way.
Again, as Vin has said, if you need further help with troubleshooting, please leave a comment on the DLC's page, and I can try to assist you further.

First of all, I'm not a minor, I'm 21 years old, and I've never been able to purchase the DLC through PayPal.
I used PayPal to buy the DLC and I had no issue with it at all. It's the main way to purchase things on itchio after the purge last year. If you're having issues, I think that's an issue on PayPal's end and I would contact support on their end for guidance. Also... if you're 21 years old... forgive my insensitivity but I don't think $2 is egregious in the slightest. Most games charge a lot more for that.
