Laura Fisher is a New Orleans-based keyboardist, vocalist, composer, and producer. Her music ranges from synth/dreampop to experimental electronic to neo-classical. Fisher has performed all over the world, with a songwriting debut at Lincoln Center at just ten years old — sharing bills in more recent times with Sound of Ceres, Tera Melos, Speedy Ortiz, spirit of the beehive., Pile, Guerilla Toss, Thou, and Glixen. In addition to her own music she also plays + sings with Avery Island BCE, jess joy, Loucey, Lyla George, and D.Sablu.

CELESTINA was a dream that ignited with the magic of a gifted hour of recording time, the anchoring of longtime engineer Adam Keil, a penchant for improvisation, and deep roots in classical music cultivated by the golden touch of master pianist Meral Guneyman. What you hear is a time capsule of a woman in the midst of metamorphosis; playful as any channeling can be / spiritual in it as well…. happy to be here & have been there.
