I was surprised to see in the latest Project Tapestry backer update state the app is nearly done.
The feedback from TestFlight users has been extremely helpful in getting Tapestry ready for the App Store. If there’s a part of the app that you think needs work, please let us know via TestFlight.
I haven’t actually bothered submitting any feedback because the test flight has always (and still) says this.
At this early state of development, we’re not actively looking for too much feedback about the state of the app - we know there are still a lot of rough edges! If you want to help, make notes of things you notice that aren’t working right, or things you think could be better and keep an eye out for improvements to them as we release more builds. When we’re further along, we’ll ask testers to submit feedback and report active bugs more earnestly.
Ah well 🤷♂️ Too late now. Bit annoyed I feel like I’ve missed my chance to have my say during development some what though.
I’m going to spend some time re-engaging with Tapestry this week, with a clean start to the feeds I put into it and re-kick the tires on it so to say.
I’m using (new) Reeder as my primary feed reader at the moment. I know that app has been marmite to a lot of people, but I really like that apps clean design and how it deals with organisational aspects like folders and grouping.
Things in tapestry for organisation always seem to take one click or one page of options too much in that regard at the moment.
I’m exited to see this breed of app take flight from different developers and to see how this area now grows.
Exiting times!
