Give to Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science in the George R. Brown School of Engineering is advancing the frontiers of computing through research, education and service. Our faculty are contributing to the future of computing in the areas of algorithms and complexity, artificial intelligence and robotics, compilers, distributed and parallel computation, graphics and visualization, operating systems, and programming languages. Join us in pushing the boundaries of computational excellence and providing solutions to real-world computational problems.
Every gift, no matter small or large, makes an impact.
Whether you choose to give back through an annual gift, establishing an endowment or or supporting a department funding priority, every dollar counts. In fact, most gifts to Rice Engineering are less than $1,000 but together they add up to millions for student awards, academics, research and programs so we can educate leaders and tackle grand challenges.
For patrons interested in donating to the Computer Science Endowment established by Moshe Y. Vardi and his wife, Pam Geyer, please select "Other" on the giving form and enter "Computer Science Endowment" in the instructions box.
If you are interested in discussing how you can make a non-cash gift such as appreciated stock, Donor Advised Fund (DAF), IRA Charitable Rollover, or through a deferred gift vehicle such as a bequest, please contact engdev@rice.edu and we would love to help facilitate that donation.
Computer Science Department Excellence Fund
Rest assured that contributions made to the Computer Science Department Excellence Fund are used in the best way possible to secure the department’s vision and support our students. These funds enable the chair to direct donations to areas of highest priority, supporting outstanding faculty and students and fostering responsibility for future engineers to achieve excellence.
