Mayumi Hirasaki

Violinist Mayumi Hirasaki has been active in Germany, where she was partly trained, as a performer and educator. She specializes in the Baroque violin and has recorded the works of lesser-known composers such as Charles Avison and Johann Georg Pisendel. She is also a harpsichordist and Baroque violist. Hirasaki is concertmaster of the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, with which she recorded the 2025 album Corelli: Concerti grossi, Op. 6, 1-6.
