iTunes Restore Error

Hi Guys,

It has been 3 days and couldn’t pass the iTunes restore error 3194 :frowning: I searched on internet but couldnt find something which works, Seems like apple is not signing off on the restore version i am trying to use as 3194 error pops up when iTunes VERIFIES THE VERSION with apple.

 

What did i do:

  1. Tried different versions of IPSW - No luck

  2. Tried setting up HOSTS file - No luck either

 

HOW TO BY PASS THIS VERIFICATION? OR HOW TO REDIRECT IT TO DIFFERENT LOCATION ETC

Please help me, it has been 3 days now.

What is your current firmware? if it’s 5.2 I think there’s still a hope, That’s my case, but I’m facing an iTunes error too unknows error (-1), but if you are in 5.2.1 and didn’t save your shsh blobs you’re gonna have to sit and wait…

Oh no :frowning: yes it’s 5.2.1, I swap my Apple TV 3 with my friends dad’s Apple TV 2 so I can jailbreak it. I connected to my tv and it was getting stuck “setting date and time”, wasn’t moving at all. I connected to iTunes and it updated and restored by ITunes to thee latest firmware so it’s 5.2.1.

Isn’t any way I can use someone else’s SHSH blobs? Or if I can downgrade somehow?

Please help

Sorry mate, you can’t downgrade without save shsh blobs…

Is there a way to get the SHSH blobs from a previously jailbroken ATV2?

 

Ive seen it via the ATV a while ago, but where are they then stored?

You can’t get from another device, they are unique for each one, for saving shsh blobs you need to use ifath or some tool to dump the keys.

has it skipped past the wifi setup page?

Its trying to pick up a wifi connection without setting one up, try using an ethernet cable plugged in.

The problem is I have already restored it to 5.2.1 :frowning:
