im glad for the post below me for reminding me of that article. i recently re-watched steins;gate and then vaguely remembered about this article but couldn't remember where it was posted, i thought it was on some imageboard but now i finally found it. yea i think it's interesting how everything that happens in the story is because okabe just wanted some friends. i've been thinking about doing something like that but i'm just not the type to do that. but again i think that's sort of a trap that keeps you from doing stuff so maybe i will one day. i do relate to that post a lot and wish i had realized all this when i was younger

I'm surprised that article is relatable. I wrote it as a quick meditation on what Steins;Gate means to me, but I go off on a tangent very early. Friendship really is the most important theme of S;G imo, and, as you say, it's what moves the entire story forwards. I guess it's easy to notice what you miss the most.

Hey man, just thought I'd check in and also leave a comment on your guestbook since I don't think I ever did beforehand. Also, just read your "Friends" article about Steins;Gate and that's a really lovely takeaway that I don't think fans of the series talk about enough. Having a little lab or circle like that to hang out with and try to invent things is a really invaluable and deeply special thing. In that respect I think the novel makes you gravely miss those simple days once the narrative heats up, just makes the later plot points hit you emotionally all the more.

I changed the color of the scrollbar by adding this to my CSS:
html {
scrollbar-base-color: #ff2050;
scrollbar-color: #ff2050 #000;
}
scrollbar-base-color is for IE, scrollbar-color is for current browsers.

Qué onda hermoso, con la noticia de que Adobe oficialmente va a matar Flash/Animate, quiero que sepas que ha sido este sitio hace ya un par de años el que me ayudó a volver a conseguir los instaladores de los GOATS de Macromedia que en algún determinado momento borré, y es el que le recomiendo a quien sea que quiera empezar a usar Flash, mandándolos para acá, muchas gracias! grande cidoku!!

Me llena de orgullo poder ser parte de la preservación de este programa tan importante, al menos un poquito. Yo no soy un buen animador ni nada por el estilo, pero si puedo aportar un granito de arena para ayudar a futuros artistas, sobre todo de habla hispana, me basta y me sobra. Todo ha valido la pena.
