Un altre home is a contemporary love story, with touches of comedy, that explores the complexity of relationships and the crucial decisions that are made in one's thirties,” says the filmmaker. “Marc (played by Lluís Marquès) and Eudald (played by Quim Ávila), a stable union with an apparently well-ordered life, are destabilised by the unexpected arrival of a new neighbour opposite. As Marc confronts his own feelings of non-conformity and Eudald's continual attempts to strengthen their relationship, the film reflects on love, expectations and loss at a key moment in life.”

According to its creators, the film also aims to capture the essence of a young, modern and dynamic Barcelona, with a fresh and personal tone that connects with the emotional reality of the characters. “This is an ambitious and risky feature film that is being made possible thanks to a team of professionals of the same generation and sensitivity, who not so long ago I shared a classroom with at university and now we are on a film set. And making this film with these actors has been a dream. The film is therefore my love letter to modern cinema through a contemporary gaze,” concludes Moragas.

Un altre home is a co-production between Oberon Media, the Mexican company Monstro Films and Un altre home A.I.E., in collaboration with 3Cat. Filmax will manage international sales and distribution in Spanish cinemas.
