Cybergeists Accepted

I just got word today that Aphelion has accepted “Cybergeists” for their September issue.  Now this is not a paying market but it does provide exposure and feedback so I’m always happy to contribute to it. They’ve published three of my stories in the past.

“Cybergeists” is a story that I’ve always liked and I’m glad to share it with others.

“Day Job” Sells

I just signed a contract with Encounters magazine to publish my story “Day Job.”  Encounters is a bi-monthly free pdf format publication that publishes SF, Fantasy, Horror and Paranormal fiction.  The editor didn’t indicate when my story would come out.

“Day Job” is one of my more well-traveled stories and for awhile I despaired of ever selling it, which surprised me because it won an honorable mention in the Writers of the Future contest.  I’ve always thought it was one of my better ones.

My backlog of unsold stories is slowly being whittled down.  This makes me believe that every well written story has a market and it is just a matter of perseverance to find it.  So, today, I am encouraged.
