I was asked by Nigel to do a number of detail colour illustrations for all of the ships in the film. Some of the main ships go through major transformations and have flashback scenes. For some of the Side elevation and 3/4 views, I painted over pencil drawings by illustrator, Simon Murton.

The first pirate ship I made, it was on 3Ds max during my first year studying 3D. It's no perfect at all, but it was fun to do, I used the movies as references so It was interesting to recreate some details from the movie in 3D :) -Black Pearl, from Pirate of the Caribbean.
