❓Why is the height of my développé barely 90 degrees, but I can battement much higher?

ANSWER:  It’s probably a lack of strength.

For developé, you need:
 • 👉Hip flexor strength
 • 👉Quad strength
 • 👉Passive hamstring flexibility

👉Passive glute flexibility

For battement, you use:
 • 👉Hip flexor power
 • 👉Core power
 • 👉Active hamstring flexibility

👉Active glute flexibility

There are exercises to build strength for développés, you just have to know what YOUR body needs.
