Ingredients: Red wine
Orange slices
Apple slices
Cinnamon sticks
Star anise
Honey (optional)
Club soda (optional) Instructions: In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, orange slices, apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise.
Stir gently and let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
If desired, add a drizzle of honey to sweeten the sangria.
Just before serving, top off the pitcher with a splash of club soda to create a nice fizz (optional).
