I have the same problem with build 2002102908 on Linux,
But i have to add that i have also installed latest multizilla
(http://multizilla.mozdev.org/) and have not tested this without it:
At first, the back button works, but at some point it becomes grayed out.
The 'back' menuitem in the "Go" Menu and in the right-mouse-button menu
also stop working.
I have not found any connection between the page accessed and the moment it happens.
"reload" and "stop" work, "forward" of does not work, but how could it
if you cant go back in the first place...
Resolving as dup of bug 126826
As a general rule:
Always uninstall old builds before installing new. If you don't use the
installer but only unpack: make sure to unpack to an empty dir, and that no
"leftovers" are around. Please also try with a new profile, make sure your
history is set to "0" in preferences, and that the theme you use is compatible.
