Bill Unique, interesting, stimulating, can't not dance to it, creative, expresses emotions I struggle with releasing sometimes. And it's saxxy. Favorite track: Break a Leg.

boonakimbo For whatever the reason, your music resonated and resonates. Loved your individual projects, saw Mi Ami live in Portland and got a Hand Fed Babies cd. Finally got to see Black eyes in DC in 2024. But way back I danced alone to Black eyes at just the right time, and indelible marks were made. Thanks! Love the new album. Will continue to support this project for as long as you all make stuff.

slblanko I haven't been so excited for a record in a long time -- this doesn't disappoint! Their sound still has the best features of the first two records but feels fresh and urgent at the same time. Favorite track: Burn.

about

Black Eyes Washington, D.C.

Black Eyes formed in August of 2001 and the band’s first full-length arrived two years later via Dischord. Their shows were chaotic and often melted down into frenzied jam sessions. A second full-length, "Cough", came out in May of 2004. The album introduced saxophone to the mix and relied more heavily on improvisational and dub influences. After 20 years off, the band returned in 2022. ... more
