  • Protect our forest by managing them. Make the Forest Service and BLM manage and harvest to reduce wildfire and improve our economy
  • Stop Crime and agresively go after drug dealers and major crimes against our citizens. Also attack our homeless problem within our state by land use and zoning changes, fighting crime and drugs and building houses.

Green Energy and the how badly it will kill our business and economic well being in this state. We have 65% green energy now by Hydro at our dams. We should NEVER remove another dam. We should be building more dams and exploring Nuclear energy options
I believe it would be appropriate to NOT allow the governor to use the emergency powers act without going through the legislative assembly first.

Ending Lawlessness & Supporting Law Enforcement

Our state has seen violence of unparalleled proportions. We continue to be put on the national stage with news of endless riots and record-breaking murders. Our police have been cast aside and shamed and their morale is low. I will stand by law enforcement every day and ensure that they have the resources necessary to do their job.

Defending Timber & Small Business

The radical policies coming from Governor Brown and extreme progressive legislators from Portland is harming our local economy. I will work tirelessly to ensure that our timberlands are properly managed and small businesses are protected from baseless shutdowns, and new taxes. They have been through enough.

Ending Government Mandates

The Government’s overreach with mandates have done irreparable harm to businesses, workers, and students. Not only will I work to end any current ones, but I will work to impleme
  • I will be a champion and voice for southern Oregons people and economy. I support our timber industry and I support new industries development to create jobs that pay a living wage.
  • I am a serious supporter of our second amendmemnt. I stand by our rights to bear arms.
  • I support our police and making our cities and rural areas more secure from crime!
I am a member of the Douglas County Sheriffs Dept. Search and Rescue team. SAR is a passion of mine and law enforcement is a place where I draw a hard line on crime. We need MORE police not less. We need more drug enforcement as well as drug rehabilitation. All of these will contribute to the lessening of our homeless problem. We have to start at the root source of the issues of homelessness. Solving the cause of the problem will ultimately relieve the overall problem. We cannot let our beautiful area in southern Oregon be ran over with crime, drugs and homelessness. We need to fix this problem and we need to start now!
I look up to the leadership we were given by Ronald Reagan. We had a president that made us focus on America first and getting a job and being a working part of the community was more important than taking a free government handout.

Our allies were with us and we had a strong international presence. Our enemies respected us.

Leading from the front is important and he did just that.
Honesty, Integrity and the willingness to represent ALL people in their constituency.
Hold true to God, your personal beliefs, the people you represent and the state.
Representing the people who put you in office is tantamount.
I would like to leave the legacy of a person who did not become the typical politician. Rather I want to be the person who got stuff done for their district. Created a better place to live for my constituents by being in the position they voted me to be in. I want to be a true leader of people reaching beyond partisanship and holding true to my beliefs.
Quality Control in a plywood mill in southern Oregon. Worked for 3 years before I moved on to another position in another company
"how to win friends and influence people"

Best book I ever read. In fact I have read it multiple times and it should be read by every young adult.

It will teach you the basics to successful negotiation.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Oregon

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
