Robert McRae
Robert Malcolm McRae, Jr. (1921-2004) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
McRae was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on September 22, 1966, to a seat vacated by Marion Boyd; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 20, 1966, and received commission on November 3, 1966. He served as chief judge from 1979 until he assumed senior status on December 31, 1986. He served until his death on June 25, 2004.[1] McRae was succeeded in this position by Jerome Turner.
