I have spent my life in Maine and have lived in Palermo for the past 7 years with my children attending the local elementary school and Erskine Academy, worshipping in local churches and enjoying the natural resources that abound in our area. I am a small business owner who has seen the destruction to business from Main Street to Industrial parks through burdensome legislation and excessive taxation which creates a nearly impossible business environment.
I believe in the hardworking and honest people of Maine, but I believe their needs must be heard, and not ignored, in the halls of the State House. I am excited to meet the constituents of my district and hear and respond to their concerns.- Freedom - I believe Maine is on the edge of becoming a state we no longer recognize and that it is CRUCIAL that we change the direction of the state in 2022. Growing up in Appleton I enjoyed a community built on respect of differences and the mutual belief that if we worked together our lives would be better for it. Throughout the past two years we have seen a one party rule that has taken away the community spirit of Maine and we MUST restore balance to this state before we lose what makes us unique.
- Hold Education Accountable - The education system has left our children far behind over the last two years. Our children have lost valuable education and have lived under the stress of overburdensome remote learning, masking and political division that has caused emotional harm. We must free our schools to focus on what is best for the kids. Schools also must be held accountable in the curriculum arena which has become a tool to create racial and economic division in an environment which should be about learning the basics and not the philosophy of a particular teacher or administrator.
- Lessen the Tax Burden and encourage business - Raised on the family farm by a single mother I understand that we must prioritize spending and not endlessly give money to pet projects that the Democrats deem important while people cry out for relief from the huge tax burden that we have here in Maine. The people and their ability to live free and prosperous lives must be given priority. As a small business owner I know that we must be supportive and innovative to get businesses to reopen and flourish, not lip service, but real support.

Now a successful Realtor and Real Estate Investor, Katrina, her husband Michael, and 3 teenage children are turning their attention to making Maine prosperous and safe for future generations. Innovation and commitment to conservative values are the trademarks of her campaign and she believes that if we work together we can bring Common Sense back to Augusta in November
- Wisely use tax revenue WITHOUT asking for more money from the people. Frugality and common sense should be the guiding principles of government
- Committed to protecting the freedom of the 1st and 2nd Amendment
- Use innovative ideas and solutions to grow our economy.
I also believe that the education system has become more about social issues than about education and believe the system must be held accountable to educate in the basics first.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
