Beth Liston
Beth Liston (Democratic Party) is a member of the Ohio State Senate, representing District 16. She assumed office on January 1, 2025. Her current term ends on December 31, 2028.
Liston (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Ohio State Senate to represent District 16. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Beth Liston lives in Dublin, Ohio. Liston earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame in 1996 and an M.D. and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2002. She completed her residency at the Yale University School of Medicine in 2006 and then earned a master's in public health from The Ohio State University in 2017. Her career experience includes working as a hospitalist at OSU's Wexner Medical Center and at Nationwide Children's Hospital and as a professor of clinical internal medicine and pediatrics at The Ohio State University.[1][2]
