A supernatural offshore-platform adventure for FIST.

Approximately 3 hours ago, sensors at a FIST outpost in Scotland detected a massive energy spike emanating from an abandoned sea platform off the coast of Norway.

Surveillance of the site has revealed it to be a well guarded CYCLOPS facility - a site that they have gone to great lengths to conceal from the world.

Your mission is to infiltrate the facility, determine its purpose, and eliminate any threat posed as a result of CYCLOPS’ activity.

This was the first session of FIST I played with a fresh party (not the ref, just an operative.) With a few more sessions under my belt now, I can confidently affirm that this was an absolute blast.

The premise is interesting, but doesn't get in the way. The scenario is high-paced - our fault, admittedly - but even then, not breathless. AFTERLIFE is a perfect introduction to the FIST setting and its world, where the mundane and the magical are casually intertwined.

We had one death on our strike team, (me,) in the final room, which came down to inexperience with the systems. This was a really, really enjoyable introduction to FIST and I can only remember it with fondness.

Thanks team <3

Is this suitable for beginners?

I tired to run this with 4 starter characters, and they all died.

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that, was it one particular ability that felt too strong, or just generally a challenging scenario?
