This was fun, just wish there was a level select or some indication of how many levels there were and what level number I was on. At least I was able to come back and continue from where I left off, thankfully.

Once I got the hint for the fish scroll, I finished it. Thanks!

I have yellow and green.

I am stuck on the following things (that may or may not be related):

1) How to get the fish out from the tank

2) Where to use the fish scroll code

3) Where to get the third star

4) How to open the container next to the shark

You could put a maximum on play time for the scoreboard? Or only count for the initial play before any new loads? There's probably better ideas than that, though.

Some thoughts (and these are based on the demo, so it could be different with the steam version and I just don't know):

I feel like flagging should be able to be done from afar. It's very tedious to have to go up to each rock to do it.

I think the game might benefit from being able to zoom out, but that's just me.

I think there should be a save system if the map is truly infinite. What if I want to call it a day and come back later?

I played for an hour and while I could see the benefit of the rail system, I kept thinking (ok, but what am I working toward or what is my reward?) and I never found it. Other incremental games either give you some story or something that feels rewarding for having made it further (a scoreboard where you can track yourself, some wacky effects, fun power ups, etc.) , but from what I could tell, this wasn't giving that sort of reward.

And I agree with folks complaning about the legibility of some numbers like 4 and maybe 6. I wasn't sure what number I was seeing for a few of them.

I'm liking the re-working of the expedition, I had really felt like it was a very slow grind previously.

Enjoying it, but wish this would save my progress between sessions, I closed out my browser last night, came back today and had to start from scratch.

You're welcome! I also saw some weird behavior today when I re-opened the game in a new browser tab where the charged quarks were not immediately available even though I had been purchasing upgrades for them last night.

Also, while I collected the Fast Forging achievement, it does not display as such in my Achievements

Ok, I think I figured out the issue. It's not that there's a tiny pixel, but in looking at the HTML source, it looks like the divs containing the buttons are being re-drawn frequently. This means that actually clicking the button is a crap-shoot because you might click when it's not on the screen, but looks like it is.

The one improvement that's needed is the click box on the buttons. It seems to be a tiny pixel in the center of the buttons.

Amazing I got a 9 million point combo without a rainbow involved. 2 diamonds and gold were a big part of it

Same. I'm in Firefox on a Mac and having the same issue.

I'm in Firefox on a Mac. Not the biggest of deals, it was a bonus level, after all.

I enjoyed the game and how it introduced new runes. For some reason the bonus levels just never load for me. I'm stuck on the screen with the main character walking

I think the one thing that would be kind of nice, especially with Eternal mode, would be to have a way to get back to the map/menu without finishing the level. Might have to forfeit progress, but I could see someone feeling a larger map might be too much of a time commitment at the end of a game session.

Liking the game. Seeing a bug where ricochet defense doesn't retain it's upgrades beyond the first upgrade level.

Great game, could really use a save mechanism

Still there, so unless my browser used a cached version of the game, you might want to put a note telling folks not to play in Firefox. Appreciate you trying to fix it. It was a fun game nonetheless.

I'll give it a shot now and let you know so that you can warn others if anything

Here's a Youtube clip of the behavior I see:

I will do so. I'll also note that I'm on Firefox on a Mac

Yep. The first time I didn't have everything necessary to finish the game. The second time I played, I did, so I was able to do what was necessary and progress forward even though that part of the screen was black except for the text.

I ran into a scenario on the web where once the gerbil wheel compartment was opened, when I clicked on it and placed the doohickey, the compartment went black and I couldn't go back, either

I got through the first 60 levels with very few restarts needed, but now I'm stumped on 61

I managed to get stuck at the To Be Continued screen because I trapped the mouse in the upper right corner with the smell of mint. I take it that's the final playable screen, though?

That's where I landed, too. Would be curious to hear if we're missing out on something.

Did you figure out a way out through the bottom or only the top? I definitely have spent too much time on it, too.

I beat the game and enjoyed it. Is there a way to exit stage 9 through the bottom or is it just the appearance of another exit?

Hopefully post game jam you'll add a save progress or auto save functionality. Enjoyable game. Level 3 with the timed golden platforms definitely upped the difficulty.

I'm using FF on MacOS and it crashed for me at the start of level 4, by the way. But when the game gets updated, I'll probably give it another go, maybe in Chrome instead.

Yeah, just felt weird, but I guess it's because it has to be an exact number and not "at least X PPS"

Somehow I got the Devilish achievement without getting "Not Great, Not Terrible"

Thanks! It was a fun game!

I finished! Honestly for me, 55 was the toughest level

I wanted to like this as it has Sudoku like elements, but not being able to mark off cells that you know don't have a rail makes this a lot less enjoyable. Maybe that's something that you can add in an update?

I managed to do level 7 with 2 arrows leftover

Fun game. I'd suggest the following additions: 1) Showing the level number of the level you're currently playing and 2) Keeping track of levels completed.

I'm on a Macbook Pro with an M1 Max chip and FF as my browser and while this is fun, the game became hard from a UX perspective to play once I hit the teens. My suggestion would be to remove the animations from the Artifacts, it feels like that's a huge source of the slow down.

After the detective says "You can count on me", I get a black screen. I checked my JS console and there's a "Failure to load texture: Error: texture data exceeds maximum texture size" error. Also of note: The credits link does load the credits, but there's no way to exit the credits scene.
