CurWeath v1.13 - by Mark T. Vitt
Yet another Command Line Current Weather Utility but this one has a built-in Station ID Database and shows the last 24hr readings. It is easy to use, is only one file, and there is a version for
32bit/64bit Linux and 64bit Windows.
Linux Version is: curweath
Win64 Version is: curweath64.exe
I have it renamed on both OS's as cw (or cw.exe)
If there are enough requests I'll do the WIN32 version - been awhile since programming on Windows and when cross compiling the 32bit Sockets (used for getting the data) had an issue on my CyberPower 64bit box. Go figure...
Usage: curweath <xx> or <stationid nn>
stationid = Station to Display Data from
xx = State - Display Stations in State
nn = Show Last nn Number of readings
latlon = Show Lat/Lon with Display Stations if available
ls = Line Separator between readings
sp = Line Spacing between readings
examples (not case sensitive):
To display Station in Arizona type: curweath az
To display Weather from Winslow,AZ: curweath KINW
Same output format as Screen Shot: curweath krap sp 10
If you have a Station ID for a State or Territory not listed it will work too.
Output Headings:
Conditions = Observed Text Conditions
Temp = Tempature
Hum = Humidity
Baro = Barometer
Dewp = Dew Point
WdSp = Wind Speed
Gust = Wind Guts
WDir = Wind Direction Compass Direction and in Degrees
Chill = Wind Chill
HI = Heat Index
Visi = Visibility
Date/Time = Date and Time of Reading
